Halofans may be focused on the upcomingHalo Infinitemore than anything else, butHalo: The Master Chief Collectionis still getting new content on a regular basis. In fact,Halo: The Master Chief CollectionSeason 8 is expected to kick off later this month, and now the developers at 343 Industries have shown off some of the armor that fans will get to unlock in the game. And as it so happens, it’s some of the most impressive armor that’s been released forHalo: The Master Chief Collectionto date.
Halo: The Master Chief CollectionSeason 8 is called Mythic, and it will be adding impressive new armor sets that players can use to customize their Mjolnir armor when playingHalo 3multiplayer matches. TheHalo MCCSeason 8 armor looks to Greek mythology for inspiration, and if it’s any indication of what fans can expect when it comes toHalo Infinitecosmetics, it seems that there’s a lot for fans to look forward to.

Here are a few of the more impressiveHalo MCCSeason 8 helmets. It’s unclear exactly whenHalofans will get the chance to unlock them as the Season 8 start date has not been announced at the time of this writing, but it should go live by the end of the month. In the meantime,click hereto see the rest of theHalo MCCSeason 8 armor.
These newHalo MCCSeason 8 armor sets are primarily meant forHalo 3, but the helmets will still be available to use elsewhere. While fans can’t expect to use these cosmetics in most of theHalogames that make up theMaster Chief Collection, they will be available to use inHalo: Reach. This way,Halofans can get a little more mileage out of the cosmetics than they would otherwise.

Halo: Reachis one of the newest additions to theMaster Chief Collection, so it’s good to see it getting some cosmetic love with Season 8. As it stands,Halo: The Master Chief Collectionencompasses nearly every main seriesHalogame released to date, with the exception beingHalo 5: Guardians. It’s unclear ifHalo 5will ever be looped into theMaster Chief Collection, though it seems unlikely since the game is already readily available to play on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X if anyone’s interested in doing so.
Halo Infinitecosmeticshave been teased as being much more over-the-top than fans usually expect fromHalogames, and perhaps the Season 8 helmets are a preview of what fans can expect. While they wait for more information onHalo Infinite, fans of Xbox’s flagship franchise can playThe Master Chief Collectionto help pass the time.
