Genshin Impacthas officially revealed more details about the upcoming five-star Electro user Clorinde, who is scheduled to arrive in the first part of Version 4.7. The recently held Special Program event has confirmed that she won’t be the only new roster addition in this banner cycle, as HoYoverse also announced a four-star character named Sethos who will appear on the same banner.
The two will be joined by the five-star Dendro user Alhaitham, who will receive another banner re-run. The second part ofGenshin Impact4.7 will introduce the head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide’s infirmary, Sigewinne. Even though HoYoverse usually avoids placing five-star units with the same element on the same double banner, the livestream confirmed that Sigewinne will arrive with the Hydro Archon Furina.

Clorinde’s Official Introduction to Genshin Impact
Her official introduction revealed that Clorinde will be amain DPS inGenshin Impactwho can implement different attack strategies based on her Bond of Life. The BoL mechanic was introduced to the game with Arlecchino’s release, and it seems that many upcoming characters will rely on its various effects. Clorinde’s official splash art confirmed that she will be a new Electro Sword user.
Clorinde’s Elemental Skill effectmakes her enter a special state called Night Vigil, which allows her to fire her pistol and increase her Bond of Life. She can also perform lunging sword attacks that restore her HP. If her Bond of Life is low, the shots' damage will increase and include a piercing effect. If the BoL value is high, the AoE and damage of the lunging attack will get buffed.
Her Elemental Burst, Last Lightfall, is very simple as it allows Clorinde to increase her Bond of Life and perform an AoE Electro attack. Clorinde’s Dark Shattering Flame passive talent will increase Clorinde’s Normal Attack and Elemental Burst damage if a nearby party member triggers an Electro-related elemental reaction.
