The leak season inGenshin Impactis heating up, as Fontaine details continue to emerge from credible sources, this time related to the new character Navia and the featured banner characters for Version 4.1. With the next developer livestream set for June 23,Genshin Impactplayers will soon see an official glimpse into the new chapter of their Teyvat journey, as well as what to expect in Version 3.8. The next update will see thereturn of Eula and Klee toGenshin Impact, as players will have the chance to pull for these characters before the Fontaine cast takes the spotlight.

Though the confirmed number ofGenshin Impactcharacters coming in Fontaine still remains in flux due to conflicting leaks on Arlecchino, players already have a concrete idea on the majority of the new additions coming to the cast. Apart from the Hydro Archon, fans can expect to see Neuvilette andWriothesley on aGenshin Impactbannerin the near future, and the exciting thing about Neuvilette is that he seems to be a 5-Star Hydro Catalyst, a first for male characters.

Another exciting addition is Navia, a Fontaine character known to the leaker community as simply “the blonde woman.” Though her concept art leaked quite early on, her element, weapon, and ability kit have largely remained in the realm of speculation. However, according to Mero, a well-known leaker in theGenshin Impactcommunity, Navia is going to be a 5-Star Geo character. Given that theGeo element inGenshin Impactdeserves a rework, players are hoping that Navia kicks off a Geo renaissance.

As always, it is imperative to take leaks with a grain of salt, as details can get misinterpreted or change over the course of development. The latest batch of leaks implies that many of the Fontaine characters have switched around from one banner into the next, with the Cryo Polearm character Wriothesley seemingly no longer being a Standard Banner addition. At present, Hutao Lover claims that Version 4.1 will feature a strong man on the Limited Banner, which certainly does point to either Wriothesley or Neuvilette, leaving Navia to potentially become the first Geo 5-Star on the Standard Banner inGenshin Impact.

WhereasDendro transformed the meta inGenshin Impactwith its uniquely layered elemental reactions, Fontaine will largely focus around Hydro, an already powerful element due to the ability kits and synergies of characters such as Yelan and Nilou. While often associated with healing thanks to Barbara and Kokomi, it is widely speculated that Focalors will offer a kit based around life drain for a change. Given the Chapter’s Hydro theme, Navia’s Geo abilities could potentially have synergy with other Hydro characters beyond Crystallize.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, Mobile, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
