Each new addition to theGenshin Impactplayable roster is always surrounded by a lot of hype, especially if the character plays an important part in the game’s main story. The arrival of a new region will introduce numerous new characters to the game, as well as the long-awaited Dendro element.

The Eleven Fatui Harbingers are popular high-ranking officers of the Fatui organizations. According to recent leaks, the 6th Harbinger by the name Scaramouche will apparently joinGenshin Impact’s playable roster in the foreseeable future.

Recent tweets made by popularGenshin Impactleakers such as Ubatcha1 and MrX have revealed more information aboutthe popular Fatui Harbinger - Scaramouchewho has been a part of the game for a very long time. He made his first appearance during the Unreconciled Stars event back inGenshin Impactupdate 1.1. According to Ubatcha1, Scaramouche should officially join the playable roster around Version 3.2. Going by the game’s usual update schedule, 3.2 will most likely arrive around the end of November.

Another popular leaker by the name MrX has previously revealed that Scaramouche will apparently be a five-star character. When it comes to his weapon type, he is expected to be a brand-new catalyst character and the second male catalyst user after the upcoming roster addition of Shikanoin Heizou. According to previousGenshin Impactleaks, his Elemental Skill will apparently allow him to fire a power beam dealing AoE elemental damage. Even though Scaramouche has made multiple in-game appearances, the game is yet to reveal his element.

The description for the recently added Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set has revealed additional information about Scaramouche. He was originally planned to be the Electro Gnosis carrier and probably the Teyvat’s Electro Archon. Previous MrX’s leaks have revealed that Scaramouche will most likely be one of thestrongest DPS characters inGenshin Impact.

The same leakers have also revealed that before he gets added to the playable roster, Scaramouche will most likely receive his own weekly boss domain duringGenshin Impact3.1. Updates 1.1 and 2.1 both introduced a combination of aGenshin ImpactArchonand a popular as a new weekly boss, meaning that Scaramouche could arrive as a new weekly boss alongside the addition of a brand-new Archon in Version 3.1. Multiple leaks have already been hinting that the new major update will introduce the mysterious region of Sumeru with its Dendro Archon - Lesser Lord Kusanali.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
