Scheduled for Version 4.7,Genshin Impactplayers have patiently awaited the debut of the Champion Duelist, as Clorinde and Sigewinne will be the last major characters from Fontaine’s Archon Quests to become playable. Players who were dreading an Overload focus on Clorinde’s gameplay can rejoice, as her ability kit seemingly prefers morevaried elemental reactions(similar to Neuvillette’s first ascension talent). According to FouL, Clorinde will wield a sword in one hand and a gun in the other, and her Elemental Skill will allow players to switch into this combat mode. Much like Keqing, Clorinde will also have invincibility frames as part of her kit and is expected to be a character capable of dishing out high damage numbers.
However, Clorinde’s Constellations add further depth to her ability kit. Her first Constellation guarantees a follow-up attack after every Normal Attack, while her second Constellation increases her interruption resistance, an increasingly valuable trait to have inGenshin Impact. Her ideal team setups currently remain in the realm of speculation, but many players have already begun to assign Nahida, Zhongli, Baizhu, Furina, and Yelan as potential teammates. As one of the bestGeo characters inGenshin Impact, Zhongli’s shield could provide enough interruption resistance and Elemental Shred to make Clorinde’s gameplay smooth even at no Constellations.
