Event season is finally here, meaning there’s going to be plenty of news for gamers everywhere to get their fix with. This week saw a number of major events take place, mostly on May 27, which made it one of the biggest days gamers have seen in a while. Luckily, that gives Game Rant Arcade hosts Cameron and Anthony a lot to talk about on Episode 23.

First off,Dying Light 2revealed brand new gameplayalong with a December 7 release date. The showcase looked similar to what fans got out of the firstDying Lightgame, though it was a worthwhile update. There are still a lot of questions about the game, but just knowingDying Light 2’s release date should be enough to hold over some fans of the franchise.

That wasn’t the only major event, though. Gorgeous newHorizon: Forbidden Westgameplayalso debuted in a stunning 15-minute presentation, revealing new enemies and combat mechanics. While fans wondering whenHorizon: Forbidden Westwill release didn’t get a solid date, it appears that the sequel to one of PlayStation’s biggest games of last-gen have a lot to look forward to.

Of course, that’s not all. A Sony investor presentation contained a smorgasbord of small details about the company’s future plans, including anUncharted 4PC portreleasing sometime in the future. The presentation also included some other information, like the PS5 breaking even in June, but there are still some big question marks about future release windows for certain PlayStation games.

Finally, Valve is also rumored to be working on ahandheld gaming PCcodenamed the “SteamPal.” Gabe Newell previously hinted at some sort of device coming later this year, which does lend some credence to the device being real. However, nothing else has been revealed about the system specs, so it’s still a huge question mark.
