With the Holiday season here, many games with live service elements have begun special limit time events. Many games likeDestiny 2,Fortnite, andBattlefield 2042are offering events with new game types, quests, and rewards for a limited time only.Call of Duty: Warzonehas also gotten into the holiday spirit with its Festive Fervor event that comes packed with challenges, loot, and rewards to claim for a limited time only.

TheWarzoneupdate also added the evil folklore creature Krampus, an entity that scares children who have misbehaved during the Christmas season. In terms ofCall of Duty, Krampus is an NPC enemy who targets players who may not be playing the objective in multiplayer matches or perhaps is camping a little too long. However, it’s presense is also felt in Warzone where he randomly targets players as well as those who find coal in the Holiday Crates.

Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers have already found the inclusion of Krampus to be frustrating, and sometimes match destroying, but a new bug is taking things even further in the wrong direction. On the Warzone subReddit, a player known as Amer-X posts a clip where they’re attempting to enter a house. Oddly enough, after opening the door, they’re unable to proceed inside as if something is blocking the door.

Soon enough, they begin taking damage and the screen starts to ice over. Shooting at the seemingly empty space draws a bit of blood splatted indicating that something is indeed standing there, though before long, the invisible Krampus finishes off its work and takes down Amer-X ending their run. With Krampus already being a sore spot with the Warzone community, the fact that a bug can make it invisible is only going to add to the frustration levels. WhileRaven has no shortage of issues to work out withWarzone, this one may be a priority for fans.

Unfortunately for Warzone fans, Krampus isn’t the only issue that has cropped up during the Festive Fervor event. Players have been encountering numerous issues since the event update arrived ranging from bizarre visual glitches, to bigger issues like server disconnects. SomeWarzoneplayers have also been experiencing the game outright crashing. Considering that this event is only intended to be for a limited time and with the studio likely on holiday break, there may not be any time for substantial fixes.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
