A new type of item has been added toFortnitein the latest update and it’s completely different from anything that’s been in the game before. Although it’s completely unusual for Epic Games to do something of the sort,Chapter 4 Season 1’s week seven update was delayed. Fans of the game found this odd, but to make up for this, the update was extra meaty regarding new content.

With this update, the Falcon Scout was added to the game and it’s taken the community by storm as it allows new gameplay strategies to emerge. This guide will show players how they can get their hands on this mechanic scouting falcon.
How To Find The Falcon Scout
The Falcon Scout can be found as floor loot and inside regular chests. However,to ensure that they find this item, players should look inside Oathbound Chests. There is a 33 percent chance that gamers willfind the Falcon Scout inside an Oathbound Chestsince these chests are guaranteed to either spawn a Shockwave Hammer, a Guardian Shield, or a Falcon Scout.
The Falcon Scout works very much like Senu, Bayek’s eagle inAssassin’s Creed Odyssey; if sent out, the player can control it to scout for enemy players and items.
Besides it scouting abilities,it can also pick up knocked players and take them somewhere safe, away from the battlefield so that they won’t be eliminated. This can only be done in duos, but works even better in trios and squad game modes since it requires of team members to control the drone while the other teammates fight enemy players.
The Falcon Scout has a green health bar with 100 HP and a yellow signal bar that indicates how strong its connection is - it depends on the distance between it and the user has a three-second cooldown after it’s been dismissed.
The only downside of this scouting drone is the fact that while it’s being used, the player can only see from the falcon’s point of view which means they don’t control their character. Therefore, while the Falcon Scout is deployed,the player is completely unprotected unless they have a teammate nearby that can keep an eye on their surroundingsand warn them if enemies appear.
