Fortnitehas now announced on Twitter that Lizzo’s hit song “About Damn Time” is the inspiration for a new emote. The song was the lead single from her albumSpecial, and was a huge hit in spring of this year. The emote has the character moving to a viral TikTok dance developed by prominent social media personality, dancer, and choreographer Jaeden Gomez, andFortnitemade sure to give the artist a shout-out in the tweet.

Gomez, upon hearing the song, was inspired to create a dance that made people feel confident and draw out their inner badass. After posting to TikTok, the video gained popularity, eventually making its way to Lizzo herself, who fell in love with it. While at Coachella, Lizzo performed the dance and posted to social media. Lizzo proceeded to get out of the car and call a troupe of background dancers, including Jaeden Gomez herself.
