As part of its v6.02 update, Epic Games' wildly popular battle royale gameFortnitehas finally added the Disco Domination Limited-Time Mode (LTM), something the company has previously teased. Joining this LTM in this patch is thequad launcher, both of which should be deeply enjoyed by its fan base.

As far as the Disco Domination mode goes, it is described as “the ultimate dance-off” and “dance Floors have spawned around the Battle Royale island.” Players will be competing for control over these dance floors while dancing to raise the disco ball. The team that fills their meter the fastest in this capture-and-defend type mode will win the match. Although this is a unique LTM, it may also remindFortniteplayers of last season’s Getaway LTM due to its unique approach to the battle royale genre.

In this mode, there will be two teams of 50, with respawning activated until the third and last storm circle. When the storm stops, five dance floors will appear on the map. Players will then need toperform an emoteon the dance floor when no enemies are around to raise the disco ball. Doing so will capture the dance floor for the team.

With the number of players in this mode, the more of them that dance on a floor, the faster it will be captured. Once it is in control of the player’s team, the dance bar on the HUD will begin to fill. It will stop when either an enemy steps onto the floor or the storm begins to move. Of course, the first team to fill their bar all the way earns that coveted Victory Royale.

As the game progresses, the later dance floors will fill the bar quicker, so players should not give up if they fall behind. Building on or over the dance floor is impossible, but it can be surrounded by a fort for protection. Redeploying gliders is active in this mode in a manner similar to theSoaring 50’s, making travel from floor to floor a bit quicker.
