A new update has been released for hit Nintendo mobile gameFire Emblem Heroes. Called “Blazing Shadows,” the latest content drop for the game, whichhas made over $5 million since it launchedlast month, introduces several new characters. These characters include Karel, Ninian, Lucius, Priscilla, Jaffar and Rebecca fromFire Emblem: The Blazing Blade. Karel and Ninian are of the red and blue unit types, respectively, while the other characters on the list are all colorless unit type.
Just like the previousupdates that introduced new charactersbefore it, the Blazing Shadows content drop also adds new Paralogue missions that help new and oldFire Emblemfans get acquainted with the characters. There are three new Paralogue missions in each and completing each one on each of the three difficulties (normal, hard and lunatic) will yield one summon orb; so nine orbs are up for grabs in total withFire Emblem Heroes' Blazing Shadows update.
And speaking of chances to get freebies, alongside the update, Nintendo has announced the winner of the in-game Voting Gauntlet event which sawFire Emblem Heroesplayers battle in the name of their favorite character. Lucina fromFire Emblem: Awakeningcame out on top, and those who supported her will get free Hero Feathers.
Moreover, Nintendo hosted a content drop that would reward all players with five orbs ifthis tweetwas retweeted 50,000 times (or if it hits 50k, combined with the official Japanese and European account tweets of the message). As of the time of writing, over 70,000 retweets had been achieved, so players will receive five free orbs later this week.
That’s fantastic news for those looking to summon more characters and avoid having to use the re-rolling tactic for a chance at adding more new characters to their teams. It should also help to eliminate someplayers' desire to cheat, as well.
Fire Emblem Heroesnow offers a sweltering amount of things to do, missions to complete, and characters to unlock. But while some may be a little overwhelmed at all of this new content, many players will be delighted at the new content drops, and that Nintendo is sticking to its promise of releasingnew content twice a monthforFire Emblem Heroes. All that is left to be seen is what the company will add to the game next.
