A recent Twitter post may have given fans an idea of what the next episode ofFinal Fantasy 7 Remakemight include as players jump back into the game, post-Midgar. So, while players ramp up excitement for which of theirfavorite charactersmight make it into the next installment of the game, we may have gotten a look at what sequences will be in the game.

This comes from Haruka Shibai, the motion capture actor for Tifa inFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, who recently posted a picture of herself learning a “turning bars” exercise on Twitter. Some fans have already begun to interpret this exercise to be a part of Shibai’s role asTifain the next episode for the remake, which might hint at a certain section being played in full in the upcoming release.

The specific scene that players are now expecting to see thanks to this latest tweet is the burning of Nibelheim, Cloud and Tifa’s hometown, that is shown during an extended flashback while the players stop by Kalm for a short time. During this flashback, players are first introduced to thedeeper character of Sephirothin the original, as this section explores him learning about his origins and eventually losing his mind under the implications of his birth. This is actually the inciting incident for the entire story, although the details shown at this part are less than reliable, with Sephiroth making the transition from hero to villain and beginning his plan that unfolds for the rest of the game.

What has players thinking that this section may be appearing, is that this is the only time that Tifa is seen wielding a sword, pulling Sephiroth’s massive Masamune out of a recent victim and attempting to kill him with it. Considering the grip Shibai is using on the pole in her photo, fans have begun to speculate that this is practice for using the sword in a fully developed version of this scene. If that is the case, then it may be possible that this flashback could be a major part of the next episode, likely taking place in the beginning as the events of Kalm take place immediately after escapingMidgar.

Some fans would have already noticed that this scene has already been briefly shown inFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, with a short clip showing Tifa in an odd brown, leather outfit with a matching cowboy hat. This outfit actually appears in this sequence in the original version, and is generally used as an indication of the time period, to differentiate her in present day from her five years before the start of the game. So, while there are a number ofchanges in the remake, it seems like this sequence might be included in its entirety in the next episode.

Final Fantasy 7 Remakeis available now for PS4.
