Final Fantasy 14’snext Live Letter from the Producer is taking place right before Christmas, bringing new gameplay footage and media for the holidays. If it follows precedent, the next major content update forFinal Fantasy 14: Endwalkerwill likely arrive a couple of weeks later.

This Letter from the Producer Live marks the 75th installment of the developer broadcast, and thesecond one pertaining toFinal Fantasy 14Patch 6.3, titledGods Revel, Lands Tremble. The Live Letter will take place on Friday, December 23 at 3 a.m. PST/6 a.m. EST. The presentation itself will include Japanese audio only, but slides will have English text, and official and fan translations will ensure players will stay informed even if they can’t watch the broadcast live.

This broadcast is the last of its kind beforeGods Revel, Lands Tremblelaunches in January. The second Letter from the Producer Live for each patch tends to happen two or three weeks before the patch’s launch. IfFinal Fantasy 14continues this trend, players can expect Patch 6.3 to launch on January 3 or 10. The holidays could see the patch delayed, though that would be unlikely.

This Live Letter will contain additional gameplay footage and information for theFinal Fantasy 14patch’s contents. This will definitely include screenshots and a trailer, and possibly a live tour of raid areas, like those found in thesecond part ofFinal Fantasy 14 Endwalker’sAlliance raidor the currently-unannounced Ultimate raid, whose subject will likely be revealed during the broadcast. Either way, players can expect the media revealed during the Live Letter to be added toFinal Fantasy 14’sspecial site for 6.3 shortly after.

Gods Revel, Lands Tremblewill continue the Main Scenario ofEndwalker. The Warrior of Light will return to the frigid lands of Garlemald to contend with an unforeseen threat alongside friends both old and new. Players can expect a new dungeon and trial as a part of the story, as well as new sidequests, a Crystalline Conflict arena and season, additions to the Island Sanctuary, Duty Support through all ofHeavensward, and more.

A couple of months after Patch 6.3, players can expect even more content in Patch 6.35. ThisFinal Fantasy 14patch will continue the Hildibrand and Manderville relic weaponstorylines and add the first new Deep Dungeon sinceStormbloodwith Eureka Orthos. With crafting and gathering tool enhancement quests and a new Tribal quest series with the moon-dwelling Lopporits coming with it,Final Fantasy 14fans should have plenty to look forward to in the new year.
