Fallout 76is nothing if not persistent. After many gamers wrote it off as broken in its early days, Bethesda has continued working hard on the title and has rewarded loyalwasteland enjoyerswith numerous new content updates over the past few years.
The most recent of these updates added the ability for players to visit the iconicformerly-PittsburghFalloutlocation,The Pitt, which was last seen inFallout 3. This guide will helpFallout 76players to set off on a voyage to the trog-infested wonderland.

The Whitespring Refuge
Before they can temporarily leave West Virginia behind, players need to find transportation. Luckily, anew group of survivorshas hunkered down in Appalachia, and they may prove useful. The newly refurbished Whitespring Refuge features several lovable new NPCs that will have players wondering why they dropped so manynuclear bombs onto the resort.
After talking to an NPC called Orlando, players will need to talk to various NPCs that give ‘Refuge Daily’ quests and provide stamps upon their completion. The ‘Responders Reborn’ main quest requires players to complete the NPCs' daily quests, and, when it’s finished, players will then unlock the ability to visit The Pitt.

Visiting the Pitt
After completing theResponders Rebornquest for the first time,the vertibirdthat takes players to The Pitt will be considered ‘charged’ and ready to go. After every trip, players will need to complete the three daily quests before they can visit The Pitt again. However, it’s possible tojoin another playeron their expeditionwithoutneeding to complete any daily quests at all.
WhileFallout 76makes it look like players need to speak with the vertibird pilot on the Whitespring Refuge’s roof, this isn’t actually the case. They simply need to open their map and find the expedition submenu. From there, provided they’ve fully charged the vertibird, players can start one of two (at the time of writing) expeditions into the Pitt.
Both “Union Dues” and “From Ashes to Fire” are fairly challenging, so players are encouraged to get their character to at least level 50 and prepare for expeditions with the following:
