Players take turns playing through the game’s 20-second time loop with one of their heroes, which is repeated in subsequent rounds and both players continue to add new actions to the time loop.

Back 4 Bloodis a spiritual successor to the classicLeft 4 Deaddeveloped by Turtle Rock Studios. However, the game does bring some innovations including new playable characters with their own perks and modification cards that help randomize the game’s levels on subsequent playthroughs.Back 4 Bloodrecently received an open betathat got a lot of positive attention from players who checked it out. Age of Empires 4 (PC only) - October 28

Fans of the series have had to wait quite a while for the newest entry, and it is great to see that it is finally nearing release after years of development. Halo Infinite - December 8
Perhaps one of the biggest additions coming this Holiday season isHalo Infinite. Shredderswas originally revealed back in Juneand has been confirmed to arrive on day one on Xbox Game Pass when it releases this December. It follows a character named Rani as she explored an alien planet that is covered in a strange black goo that is the titular gunk. Developed by Thunderful, the studio behind theSteamWorldseries,The Gunkis the studio’s first 3D title and is definitely one to keep an eye on.
The Anacrusis - 2021
The Anacrusisis a four-player co-op shooter styled after the 70s that sees players fighting to survive hordes of horrifying creatures with a diverse arsenal of weaponry. The developer Stray Bombay has said thatThe Anacrusiswill offer infinite replayabilitythanks to a system known as AI driver, which ensures that items, weapons, and points of interest are randomly placed every time players step into the game. Interestingly, the system will even adapt the level’s layout based on how players are performing, which could makeThe Anacrusisa very interesting shooter to check out when it releases sometime this year.
Scorn - 2021
Scornis an upcoming horror game set to release before the end of the year that is heavily inspired by the chilling biomechanical designs of artists Zdzislaw Beksinski and H.R. Giger.Alienfans may recognize the Giger, while the game itself is focused on intertwining its environments, characters, and equipment to make a uniquely terrifying experience.
