Of the five Mythic items introduced with theHigh IsleChapter forElder Scrolls Online, the Lefthander’s Aegis Belt is the most defensive, though its bonus is technically good for lots of different ESO builds. It replaces a core combat mechanic with a damage shield, changing how players react to incoming damage.
The Lefthander’s Aegis Belt Replaces Dodge Rolling With A Shield
The Lefthander’s Aegis Belt is a one-piece set, likeall ESO Mythics, that replaces the invincibility of a Dodge Roll with a damage shield. This damage shield is massive, capable of absorbing up to 21,000 Damage, but it only lasts for one second.
Theoretically, this damage shield can stack with other damage-reducing effects so immensely that many one-shot attacks from Trial bosses could be mitigated enough to prevent death. It doesrequire players to be on their toesto react to incoming damage premptively, but the massive shield is capable of absorbing all but the most powerful of attacks itself. It’s likely oriented toward Tanks, but a good damage shield can be useful in just about any build.

How To Get The Lefthander’s Aegis ESO Mythic
As an ESO Mythic, the Lefthander’s Aegis can only be unlocked through the Antiquities System. This system was introduced withtheGreymoorChapter, and as such players must go to Solitude to unlock the skill lines associated with Scrying. There are five Leads tied to the Lefthander’s Aegis that players can find - each is located in a unique location and acquired through unique means.
Once you have found one of these five Leads, you must Scry it to find where the Antiquity actually lies. As Master-level Leads they can only be Scryed by a player with four Skill Points spent on the Antiquiarian’s Insight perk, which itself requires a Level 7 Scrying skill. Once you have found each digsite, the fragment found there will beadded to your Collections, and the Lefthander’s Aegis will automatically be added to your inventory upon completing the final Lead.
