However, since thenElder Scrolls Onlinehas made a name for itself especially due to the diversity of skills, weaponry, and classes players can explore through thevarious characters they are free to create.

One such interesting weapon skill many players have explored, especially as Night blades, is the weapon skills involved withdual-wielding. This skill allows players to equip a one-handed weapon in each hand and attack their enemies with a flurry of attacks, these are by far thebest skills to purchase if hoping to use this play style.
8Twin Blade And Blunt
Starting off, an ability that players that choose to dual-wield will certainly want to get their hands on as soon as they master dual-wielding by ranking it up to rank 50 is the passive ability of Twin Blade and Blunt. This skill allows players to achieve certain bonuses depending on what type of one-handed weapon they have equipped in each hand.
This would therefore make it beneficial tomix and match weaponryto achieve the most bonuses possible such as equipping a dagger to increase crit chance while having a mace in the other hand to increase the player’s armor penetration.

7Flurry
Stepping briefly away from passive abilities,a great active abilitya player should also consider is Flurry. This charges an enemy with a large amount of damage through countless stabs dealing a fair amount of physical damage.
Morphing this ability into something such as Bloodthrist not only does this damage but converts it to bleed as well as healing the player for a percentage of the damage which was caused during the flurry of attacks. Alternatively, players can go for Rapid Strikes, this instead reduces the duration to use the attack while also increasing its damage.

6Controlled Fury
Dual-wielding is all about playing DPS for the most part, this means being able to cause the most damage the quickest and therefore the passive of Controlled Fury can help a player achieve this goal. By rank 34 players will be able to start pointing points into this passive ability that reduces the amount of stamina needed to use all dual-wield abilities.

Without this perk, players may find themselves quickly locked out of attacking an enemy due to needing to wait for their stamina to regenerate if they are unable to quickly bring back their stamina with potions.
5Whirlwind
Due to holding two weapons at once, players are also open to attacking multiple enemies around them. This makes those that wish to follow this weapon skill line perfect for dealing AOE DPS and the active ability of Whirlwind allows this to be the case.
As it’s base ability Whirlwinddeals a large amount of physical damageto all enemies that surrounds them, trapping them all in its lethal spin. However, morphing this skill into Whirling Blades will deal even more damage as long as the enemies are on lower health, this makes it easily dispatch large groups of foes.

4Slaughter
Alongside the passive on Controlled Fury, players will also want to invest some perk points into Slaughter, another passive with great benefits for those wishing to focus on dual-wield. Slaughter increases the amount of damage done to enemies by 20% for those that are also under 25% health.
This means that players can easily dispatch large groups of enemies, so they can focus on clearing ads for the rest of their team. This skill can also easily benefit active abilities such as Whirlwind as it would increase the damage it can do even more.

3Lacerate
Active skills like Lacerate will keep players alive during most intense situations as it strikes in front of it, dealing a large lethal amount of bleeding damage that will also heal the player for half the damage they have done.

Even without morphing this ability players are sure to enjoy not only the damage but the capability of looking after themselves without relying on a healer, and therefore cansolo parts ofESO. However, changing the ability to Thrive In The Chaos keeps all the bonuses from before while turning it into a cone attack allowing the player to hit more targets at once.
2Dual-Wield Expert
Like theother weapon skill lines, dual-wield also posses a passive ability known as Dual-Wield Expert. Similar to other trees, this increases the amount of damage that the weapon can do by a small fraction.
However, due to the player possessing two weapons in order to make it fair,Elder Scrolls Onlineonly increases the off-hand weapon and spell damage by 6% instead of both of them. Even though this may seem like a small fraction it can still make a large difference depending on the combos players attempt to put together.

1Blade Cloak
Out of all the skills available to players pursuing the Dual-Wield weapon, one of the most crucial active skills players should quickly equip once reaching rank 20 is the skill known as Blade Cloak.
Players are able to surround themselves with acloak of lethal bladesthat pulses damage every couple of seconds while also granting Major Evasion, reducing the amount of damage the player takes from area of effect attacks. Morphing this ability into Deadly Cloak will further increase the damage done by the burst while keeping the buff of Major Evasion.

The Elder Scrolls Onlineis available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, and macOS.
