Let it never be said that gaming fans are not a dedicated bunch of talented individuals. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, in particular, has a hugely devoted fan base. Everything from detailed cosplay outfits, to modded content, to evena crossover between the world of Tamriel and the HBO crime dramaThe Sopranos, has crossed the mind of anElder Scrollsfan. Now another person has entered the realm with a stunning display of artwork depicting the game’s major God, Talos.

Posting to Reddit earlier today, user u/LongFineArt uploaded a photo of himself, donning a fully-knittedSkyrimhelmet, holding a beautiful piece of artwork depicting Talos as a statue. The artwork has invited many comments from other Reddit users who have expressed utter delight at the sheer skill that has gone into the work, with the artist saying that they spend almost every day painting to reach such levels.

This is also not thefirst piece ofElder Scrolls 5: Skyrimartthat u/LongFineArt has created, either. A few weeks ago, he posted a similar picture of himself, donned in the usual woolly helmet, holding an even bigger painting which depicts the three magic stones players come across early in the game once they escape the dragon from Helgen and make their way to Riverwood.

WithElder Scrolls6becoming one of the most anticipated games in recent history, there is perhaps a lot of pressure on Bethesda to really live up to the expectation and the hype that followedSkyrim. It’s not yet known when the next installment in the series will be released, but with Bethesda and Microsoft’s E3 show scheduled for tomorrow, who knows what will get announced, but it could be time for the developer to win back some of the crowd after the poor reception received from 2018’sFallout 76.

The Reddit user’s creativity is arguably a testament to the level of talent that goes into creating something that fans feel reflect their opinion on the epic open-world game. As gamers continue to mod the overall content of the world, includingthe add-on which allows players to become a professional bardin-game, it seems evident that, despite being nearly a decade old at this point,The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimis still pulling in a rich audience who are keen to either express their love for the series, or extend its life. At least until the sixth game gets released.

Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimis available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
