The newest FromSoftware game has fans excited, which means the wait has felt long, butSoulsfans will hope it will be worth it. From what FromSoftware has shown ofElden Ring, it seems thatthe game could be a big hit. The last FromSoftware game,Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice,went over well with fans, and they will be hoping for a similar experience withElden Ring.
Elden Ringhas already had a closed network test, during which a lucky few got the chance to try it out early. The results were positive, and people praised the experience. EvenGeorge R.R. Martin has praisedElden Ring, having been involved in the creation of the game to do, “A bit of worldbuilding.” One key aspect of this worldbuilding may be the game’s classes, which offer up plenty of opportunity for variation. These classes are an interesting aspect ofElden Ringthat fans are eager to learn more about upon the game’s release.

Elden Ring’s Classes
There are five classes inElden Ringfor the player to choose from: the Warrior, the Enchanted Knight, the Prophet, the Bloody Wolf, and the Champion.FromElden Ring’snetwork test, players have been given some idea of what each of these classes can offer, although specific details aren’t entirely clear as of this writing. It is clear, however, that players may want to take their time in picking their preferred class in order to get the most out of the game.
The classes inElden Ringoffer players the chance to tailor their character to their own needs. For example, the Warrior class inElden Ringis great for players who like to head into conflict guns blazing, metaphorically. Players can dual wield scimitars, although this will prevent them from using a shield. The Bloody Wolf class, on the other hand, is the opposite of the Warrior class in that it encourages the player to dodge and roll to avoid being hit. While the Warrior class is for a more brutish playstyle, the Bloody Wolf is for players who like to take a more calm and considered approach.
Elden Ring’s Dragonborn-like Champion Class
Among the five classes available inElden Ring, there is one that may stand out to fans ofThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. A certain aspect of the Champion class bears a striking resemblance tothe Dragonborn ofSkyrim. InElden Ring, Incantations allow players to perform spells that have effects ranging from healing to attacks that deal serious damage. The Champion class has one incantation that stands out as being particularly interesting.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimhas shoutsthat the Dragonborn can equip and use, each of which dole out various special abilities. One specific incantation inElden Ringmay seem familiar to fans ofSkyrim, as the Dragonfire incantation causes the player to grow a dragon’s head and breathe fire at enemy NPCs. Everything from the dragon aesthetic to the act of breathing fire as an attack is very similar to what can be found inSkyrim. For fans ofThe Elder Scrollsseries who may be interested in picking upElden Ring, the Champion class is an obvious choice for this reason. However, what else the class does will have to be seen upon release.
