Moreover, leveling up a specific statistic enables players to use well-knownweapons inElden Ringlike Bloodhound’s Fang, Wing of Astel, and Envoy’s Long Horn.
Elden Ringplayers often look for overpowered weapons to give them an upper hand in boss fights and the PvP mode. However, some gamers attempt to up the ante by playing with unorthodox weapons to demonstrate their true abilities in the game. Reddit user straw28 is one such player who has defeated apowerfulElden Ringbosswith a rather unpopular weapon.

Not many gamers choose a bow as theirprimary weapon inElden Ring, but straw28 is the exception. The Reddit user uploaded a three-minute video showing their encounter with Morgott, The Omen King, who is a mandatory boss. As soon as the player enters the boss fight arena, they deploy the Barrage Ash of War which fires a series of arrows in rapid succession, dealing moderate damage. Morgott tries to close the gap but cannot gain momentum, while straw28 dodges the oncoming attacks and continues firing arrows every chance they get.
At one point, Morgott lands a devastating blow to the user, almost depleting their health bar in a single shot. The user quickly took a few steps back and consumed a Flask of Crimson Tears to regain lost HP. Notably, the user takes full advantage of Morgott’s Holy Blade Rain attack and manages to stagger him after multiple arrow hits. During the second phase, straw28 keeps their distance from theElden Ringboss while constantly harassing him with arrows. Eventually, the player defeats Morgott after a grueling fight and performs the Wave gesture to celebrate their victory.
For those who don’t know, Morgott the Omen King is a mandatory boss found in theLeyndell Royal Capital region ofElden Ring. He is the son of Queen Marika and Godfrey, the First Elden Lord, and the twin brother of Mohg, Lord of Blood. Players must defeat Morgott to progress in the game and access the Mountaintops of the Giants region.
