AnElden Ringplayer shares a clip of how they destroyed Malenia using a unique boss weapon.Malenia is probably the hardest boss inElden Ring, but gamers are not required to beat her to finish the main story, as she can only be found in a late-game optional area.

Since its release, manyElden Ringplayers have shared tactics and unique strategies for defeating Malenia, with some fans being able to perform this feat at level 1. As an example, oneElden Ringfan completely destroyed Melaniausing Morgott’s Cursed Sword, as they managed to defeat her within 60 seconds. Now, another player has uploaded a similar video of them defeating Malenia with a different weapon.

A Reddit user named dvamg has shared a clip from their playthrough, showing off how they defeated Malenia using Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear. The player uses a couple of buffs before initiating the fight, in addition to theBurn O Flame! Incantation inElden Ring. Dvamg then uses the Bloodboon Ritual unique weapon skill of Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear, dealing a significant amount of damage to Malenia, before hitting her with a critical strike.

The second phase of the fight is not too different, as the player utilizes the same abilities to buff themselves and hits Malenia with the Bloodboon Ritual skill. In the end, the player only needs to strike Malenia with a simple jab attack from Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear, ending the fight without too much trouble. Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear is a unique weapon inElden Ring, and players can acquire it by exchanging Remembrance of the Blood Lord, which is obtained bykilling Mohg in Mohgwyn Palace, at the Roundtable Hold.

ManyElden Ringfans in the comments section compliment the player for successfully using the tactic, but some users are surprised to see Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear dealing so much damage to Malenia. It also looks like the Reddit poster could have killed Malenia faster, as they claim to have been too lazy to properly buff themselves during the fight.

Bandai Namco recently revealed thefive hardest bosses inElden Ring, confirming that gamers had tried to defeat Malenia 329 million times. Margit is in second place with 281 million attempts, with the Tree Sentinel in Limgrave sitting at 277 million. Despite the difficulty of the fight, it looks like many players have figured out unique and interesting ways of defeating Malenia inElden Ring.
