Players can get theCarian Regal Scepterby speaking withEnia, the Finger Reader,who lives inRoundtable Hold. In order to obtain the staff, players need to trade in their Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen in order to get the item.
Players obtain theRemembrance of the Full Moon QueenQueen by defeatingRennala, Queen of the Full Moon. She serves as the primary boss of the Liurnia of the Lakes area, residing at the center of Raya Lucaria Academy.
Rennala, Queen of the Full Moonis a two-stage boss fight where players first need to navigate through an endless horde of Rennala’s “sweeting” children. There will be one singing to maintain a barrier around her as Rennala floats above them. Killing enough of them will cause her to fall to the ground, allowing the player to attack her. From there, the second stage is a more conventional boss fight as the player faces an empowered Rennala who uses a variety of sorceries.
Players can trade the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen for either the Carian Regal Scepter or Rennala’s Full Moon sorcery. The Carian Regal Scepter gives a +15% damage buff to Rennala’s Full Moon for thosewho stop a Mausoleumto get a second remembrance.
Is the Carian Regal Scepter Worth It?
The Carian Regal Scepter is one of the best staves in all of Elden Ringand is definitely a staff to consider for any sorcery-focused player. It offers an excellent blend of damage and versatility, with a unique variant of the Spinning Weapon Ash of War skill to boot.
Not all players will be able to squeeze the full juice from the Carian Regal Scepter. TheMeteorite Staff is the best stafffor players in the early and mid-game, and the Carian Regal Scepter doesn’t start exceeding its damage until the player has a high level of intelligence and a significant number of upgrades to the Carian Regal Scepter. Once players cross those thresholds, the Carian Regal Scepter offers superior damage to almost every alternative.
The only competition isLusat’s Glintstone Staff.Lusat’s Glintstone Staffoffers superior damage but has a +50% increase in the mana cost of each spell. The one area where this is preferred is with a Comet Azur-focused build. Outside that one build, the Carian Regal Scepter is superior.
