Summary

An incredibly talentedElden Ringfan shares some photos of a headpiece they made that serves as an impressive recreation of Sorceress Sellen’s helmet from the game. Like many of their previous titles, FromSoftware’s latest epic is filled to the brim with awe-inspiring character designs and otherworldly visuals. Astonishing fan creations like these show how much of an impact these aspects ofElden Ringhave had on many players.

When it was first released in 2022,EldenRingbecame a breakout hit for FromSoftware and Bandai Namco, both critically and commercially. One of the aspects that fans lauded about the game was the remarkable amount of freedom it gave players, such as byletting people kill everyElden RingNPC. A particular character that many gamers hesitated to kill, however, was Sorceress Sellen, an important merchant from the Waypoint Ruins in Western Limgrave. Sellen caught the attention of many due to her distinct appearance, which was headlined by the clay mask she wore. In fact, oneElden Ringplayer who really liked Sellen’s character design painstakingly recreated her headpiece and ended up with some stunning results.

A Reddit user named Enbytes posted some photos on the r/EldenRing subreddit of an intricately detailed headpiece they made based on the one Sorceress Sellen wore in FromSoftware’scritically acclaimed Soulslike game. The mask apparently took “so many months” to make, and one can easily tell, given how accurate it is to the source material. In fact, the headpiece even comes with a green resin crystal that contains LED lights underneath it. This gives the mask a sickly, dull glow, just like inElden Ring.

According to Enbytes, the headpiece wasn’t sculpted, but was 3D-printed instead. Since it’s made of plastic, it only weighs around 1 kilogram and is hollow inside, meaning that it’s completely wearable. In one of their responses in the comment section, Enbytes says they actually plan to wear the mask as part of a Sellen costume they are currently working on. Though fans are normally unable to find outwhat Sorceress Sellen looks like without her helmet onin-game, this fan-made headpiece at least gives them an idea as to what the helmet in question would look like in real life.
