It’s clear that, despite being a prequel,Eiyuden Chronicle: Risinghas ambitions as a completely standalone game. This is visible not only in its production values but in its length and breadth of content as well.

How Long to Beat Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

If the player is aiming to rush throughEiyuden Chronicle: Rising, they can easily clear it in about 10 hours. The fastest speedruns can clear it under two hours, although that experience is very different from how most players will approach the game.

To reach that sort of time, players would need to skip throughall ofEiyuden Chronicle: Rising’s quests, missing the narrative core of the game, all while severely under-leveled and taking advantage of unintended routes.

For players looking for a completionist experience, fully leveling up all characters, completely restoring the town, and finding all secrets, the game’s expected playtime doubles, taking about 20 hours to finish. While it’s far from the longest action RPG, it’s still a respectable length.

At the time of writing,Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroesis slated to release at some point during 2023, leaving plenty of time to finishRisingbeforeHundred Heroescomes out.
