E3 2019will be beginning soon, and as always, the show has a ton of rumored appearances. Some of these have recently beenconfirmed for E3 likeMarvel’s Avengersand the newDarksidersgame, but some are definitely in the air. This doesn’t mean there won’t be any surprises, but as it stands, E3 has a plethora of announcements that are rumored for the showcase.
Yet that doesn’t mean every rumor spread online is true, and there are tons of rumors that simply will not manifest atE3 2019. What does or doesn’t make it to the stage remains to be seen, and though these rumors do not have any real confirmation, here are the biggest rumor game announcements for the gaming expo.

10Destroy All Humans!
It has been 11 years since there was an entry in theDestroy All Humans!franchise, but according to a recent rumor, THQ Nordic stands ready to showcase a new game at E3 2019. The last anyone saw of Crypto, he was leaving the Furon Palace when Pox became the emperor. It’s unknown if a new game would serve as a sequel to the last game, a reboot, a spin-off, or what, but it’s likely to garner tons of attention nonetheless.
9Dino Crisis
Capcom is expected to make a new game announcement at the show, and while a newDino Crisisis not the likeliest scenario, many are clamoring for another entry in the survival horror action-adventure franchise.Capcom’s E3 2019 announcementwill have the final say on the matter, but the company has expressed interest in returning to this franchise in the past.
8Fable 4
One of the biggest rumors this year may be the announcement ofFable 4, which is thought to be a reboot of the franchise or a remake of the first game. Yet its release date is also rumored to be a long time away, as it is supposedly a next-gen Xbox exclusive. This would make sense, but we simply have to wait until E3 2019 to find out.
7Great Rune
From Software’s next game is rumored to be titledGreat Rune, and comes as a result of a collaboration withA Song of Ice and Firewriter George R. R. Martin. It’s rumored to feature three different playable characters set in the backdrop of a 100-year civil war, and recently discovered game files ofSekirosuggestGreat Runeis a legitimate rumor. From Software is allegedly announcing this game at E3 2019, but if so and to what extent is currently in the air.
6Perfect Dark Reboot
Said to have a “small chance” at appearing during Microsoft’s E3 press conference, aPerfect Darkrebootwould certainly be welcomed by fans of a franchise long-thought dead. Yet, if this does prove to be the case, it’s rumored to be in third-person and not developed by Rare Studios, marking significant changes from the original, so it remains to be seen how the reception of a reboot would stand up in comparison.
5Resident Evil 3 Remake
Following the successful remake ofResident Evil 2, details leaked online that Capcom was intending to annualize the franchise. This led to the belief that the remake ofResident Evil 3: Nemesis’srelease datewould be in January 2020 following an E3 2019 reveal, and considering that Capcom is rumored to be making a major announcement at the show, little could top anotherResident Evil.
4Resident Evil 8
Resident Evil 8is said to be in development, so instead of another remake, it’s not out of the question that Capcom’s announcement could be the sequel instead of another remake.Resident Evil 3 Remake, Resident Evil 8, andDino Crisisall being at E3 2019 would be a jaw-dropping move, but it seems much likelier that only one of these will come out on top.
3Roller Champions
Seemingly inspired by the likes ofRocket League,Roller Championsis reportedly a derby-themed multiplayer sports game that Ubisoft will reveal at E3. Leaks seem to give this game a solid amount of credibility, but this is still best taken as a rumor. Ubisoft has yet to acknowledge its existence, which could easily be taken one way or another, so tuning into Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference is likely the best way to see if this rumor is true.
2The Simpsons
The official E3 2019 Twitter account recently confirmed that the writers and producers ofThe Simpsonswill be hosting an E3 coliseum panel, naturally leading to speculation that anewSimpsonsgame will be revealed. Indeed, it’s hard to imagine what else this panel could be for, but until there is actual confirmation, this should be taken with a grain of salt (which goes for many of the games on this list as well).
1Watch Dogs 3
Another title likely to appear at Ubisoft’s press conference isWatch Dogs Legion, with rumors also alleging thatWatch Dogs 3will be set in London and release later this year. Leaks have also indicated that there will be no lethal combat and that players will be taking on the role of a counter-terrorist operative named Sarah. Of course, this could all be the workings of the internet, so until Ubisoft shows its hand, players are left waiting.
E32019takes place from June 11 to June 13 in Los Angeles, California.
