Dragon Ball FighterZis preparing to release its final two DLC characters in the coming months, bringing the 3-year support for Arc System Works' fighting game to a close. Bandai Namco has already revealed that these two characters will be Super Baby 2 and Gogeta SSJ4 fromDragon Ball GT, with Super Baby 2 gearing up for release this week. Ahead of his release, Bandai Namco has revealed gameplay showcasing Super Baby 2’s moveset inDragon Ball FighterZ.
Super Baby 2 isthe latest character to joinDragon Ball FighterZ’s FighterZ Pass 3, the third season pass for the game which has brought Kefla, Goku (Ultra Instinct), and Master Roshi into the roster of 43Dragon Ballcharacters (almost a quarter of which are different versions of Goku.) Super Baby 2 is the second everDragon Ball GTcharacter to join the roster, following Goku (GT) who joined the game in May 2019, and quickly became a fan favorite character.

Bandai Namco has dropped another episode ofThe Dragon Ball FighterZ Show,a web series hosted by FighterZ competitive commentators Tyrant and Damascusas well as professional player Apologyman. From the showcase, Super Baby 2 looks to be yet another incredibly powerful character joining the roster. While some of his attacks look slower than otherDragon BallFighterZcharacters, they certainly pack a punch, making him an interesting addition to the roster so late after the game’s release.
Dragon Ball FighterZ’s FighterZ Pass 3 was initially announced on June 17, 2025 as the last character pass for the game, as Arc System Works is looking to end support for the game heading into 2021 as the developer prepares for the release ofGuilty Gear Strivein April, while also supporting its other fighting game titles such asGranblue Fantasy: Versusand the newly announcedDungeon & Fighter Duel. It remains to be seen if Arc System Works will partner up with Shonen Jump again in the future to produce a sequel toDragon Ball FighterZor adapt anotherpopular manga series such asOne Piece,Naruto, orMy Hero Academia.
Dragon Ball FighterZfirst released in January 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch version following later the same year. The game has beenregarded as one of the best fighting games of the generation, matching the striking visuals of Arc System Works’Guilty Gearseries with the complex but approachable fighting game design that the studio is known for, along with tons of fan-service spanning all of theDragon Ballseries, including non-canon entries such as the films andDragon Ball GT.
