YouTubestreamer Dr Disrespect rarely ventures away from multiplayer, first-person shooter on his streams, but he has done so before withgames likeElden Ringand now is doing it once again withBioShock. The Doc has apparently never played it.

It’s worth mentioning that behind the pompous, full of attitude persona that is Dr Disrespect is a real man named Guy Beahm.Dr Disrespect rarely breaks character, but the times that Beahm has come out with his fans have resulted in intensely emotional situations. Furthermore, Beahm was aCall of Dutydeveloper at one point, and his new studio is working on a game calledDeadrop. Dr Disrespect is important to the streaming industry, but Beahm is important to the community Disrespect has cultivated and for his perspective on games. Many see his criticisms and don’t take them seriously when they, in fact, should.

Part of being a game developer means playing games, with Dr Disrespect being known for hisCall of Duty, Apex Legends, and other FPS streams, but he is starting up a new playthrough on stream of BioShock. He previously beatElden Ringon stream, resulting in a lot of cool moments for the Doc and his fans, and it seems safe to say thatBioShockwill be no different. After all,BioShockis one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time. This has set high expectations on the next game, which is rumored to be in development, but it says something when the Doc is playing a game from 2007 that is potentially as exciting as something likeModern Warfare 2orWarzone 2.

BioShock 2is incredibly popular on its own, though not as popular as the first game, and the threequelBioShock Infiniteis right up there with the first game in terms of critical success. Many didn’t like the direction of it, but at the same time, many more loved it as much clearly. It’s uncertain if the Doc intends to just play through the first game or is planning on hitting all three. There’s certainly nothing wrong with either decision, and neither would impact fans following the Doc for his MPYouTubestreams.

WhenDr Disrespect played throughElden Ring, there were other streams dedicated to his MP games. Fans who follow and keep up with him on social media or elsewhere know he streams Monday, Wednesday, and Friday typically, so if one day isn’t someone’s cup of tea, there’s always more streams on the horizon.
