These games are giving players the ability to finally answer the question of who would win in a fight, but one of the biggest studios in the world has yet to enter this growing genre.
Warner Bros. will be bringing some of the biggest IPs to a platform fighter withMultiVersus, and fans are very excited to see the potential. Warner owns some of the biggest franchises in the world like DC,Game of Thrones, andThe Looney Tunes. If Warner can enter this market and bring together these large franchises, then there is no reason that Disney could not do the same. Disney also owns some of the world’s biggest IPs, and a platform fighter from the studio would be one of the biggest crossovers around. IfMultiVersusproves to be a success for Warner, then Disney should introduce its own version.

Disney Owns Some of the Biggest Franchises Around
Over the years, Disney has gathered some of the biggest franchises in the world under one roof. Ever since 2009, the company has owned Marvel Entertainment and has been responsible for amajority of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney also controls Lucasfilm and has been steadily expanding the world ofStar Warsthrough numerous projects. The studio even owns Pixar and its treasure trove of iconic animated films. That is not even mentioning the various films that Walt Disney Animation and Walt Disney Studios have released since their creation.
In 2019, Disney expanded its portfolio even more when it purchased 21st Century Fox. This gave the company control of theAlienfranchise,Predator,Avatar,Planet of the Apes, and evenDie Hard. The acquisition also gaveDisney control over theX-Men,Fantastic Four, andDeadpoolfilm series. The studio even owns things likeFamily GuyandThe Simpsons.It also seems committed to expanding its portfolio even more through many new projects from these studios as well as monthly additions to Disney Plus.

Disney MultiVersus Could Be Huge
With the amount of franchises that Disney owns, a giant crossover fighting game only makes sense. Fans could pit characters like Iron Man orJack Sparrow against Elsaor Luke Skywalker. They could control Deadpool and have him fight Miss Piggy in the streets of Springfield. They could even relive theAlien Vs Predatormovies but with Pandora fromAvataras the backdrop. The possibilities are endless, and some battles would be absolutely wild. It could also be one of the biggest and most fun platform fighters on the market.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimatebrought together video games from throughout Nintendo’s history, as well as many classic non-Nintendo titles.MultiVersuswill be doing the same thing but for Warner Bros. media, and it looks to be filled with wild crossover potential. Seeing all of these different iconic characters duke it out is a great time for players, and Disney could take that to the next level.Star Warsand the MCU alone would be huge, but if the studio throws in all the other IPs, then the game could be gigantic.
