Diona is a very interesting character inGenshin Impact.Not only does she have a Cryo Vision and feline features, but she also works as a bartender despite being a small child. To make things even stranger, she is apparently a well-renowned bartender, too.
Those who are looking to travel with Diona and maximize her combat potential will need to gather some materials and quite a bit of Mora. Here’s a full breakdown of everything Diona needs to ascend and upgrade her talents.

Diona holds a Cryo Vision, which means she’s going to need someShivada Jadeto ascend. Additionally, she’ll require someArrowheadsfrom Hilichurl Shooters, theHoarfrost Coresdropped by the Cryo Regisvine, and someCalla Lilies.Of course, there’s also aMoracost for ascension.

Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade
All Cryo characters, including Diona, use Shivada Jade as part of their ascension.
Like other gemstones, Shivada Jade can be bought from the Mondstadt and Liyue souvenir shops or earned by finishing daily commissions.
One of the most efficient ways of earning gemstones, though, is bydefeating bosses. Shivada Jade, in particular, can be obtained by defeating any of the following bosses:
*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Shivada Jade when they’re aligned with Cryo.
Enemy Drop - Where to Find Hilichurl Arrowheads
The Arrowheads dropped by Hilichurl Shooters come in three varieties, each dropped by a higher level monster:

Weathered Arrowhead
Note that only HilichurlShooterscan drop these Arrowheads. Standard Hilichurls will not drop them.
Boss Drop - How to Get Hoarfrost Core
Hoarfrost Cores, which are used to ascend many Cryo characters, are obtained by defeating theCryo Regisvine. This oversized Whopperflower is found in Mondstadt, specifically on the Falcon Coast, just south of the Thousand Winds Temple.
Local Specialty - Where to Find Calla Lilies
The regional specialty that Diona uses to ascend is theCalla Lily. These flowers are found throughout Mondstadt, especiallynear bodies of water.Thebig pond near Springvaleis a good source of Calla Lilies.
There are two additional methods to finding Calla Lilies other than gathering them from the wild. First, they can be grown in theSerenitea Pot. Second, they can bepurchased from Flora, the young girl who runs the flower shop in the City of Mondstadt. She carries five of them at a time, restocking every three days. They cost 1,000 Mora each.
Diona Talent Materials
Diona has three upgradeable talents, and it’ll take the following materials to upgrade them.
Talent Level 9 -> 10 (max)
Talent Books - Freedom
Diona uses the Freedom series of talent books when upgrading her talents. These can be obtained in a number of ways, but the most reliable and efficient is by clearing the Forsaken Rift domain on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Trounce Materials
The Trounce domain material that Diona uses for her talents is the Shard of a Foul Legacy. This item can be obtained by defeating Childe/Tartaglia at his weekly Trounce fight.
