Following the weekly reset this past Tuesday,Destiny 2players have seen the return of Lord Saladin and the Iron Banner. However, this season is a bit different than fans may remember as not only does the competitive mode feature connection based matchmaking, but the lengthy quest has been cut dramatically short. With only one step to complete, players can earn reprised versionsof The Forward Path auto rifle and The Fool’s Remedy sidearm.
Thankfully, it’s fairly easy to earn these weapons as players simply need to get 25 auto rifle and 25 sidearm kills while playing Iron Banner. Not only that, players no longer need to wait in order to unlock new gear, which was typically restricted until certain steps of the quest were completed. Turning in Iron Banner tokens with Saladinimmediately drops pieces of the Season 11 armoras well as enhanced armor mods.

While the Iron Banner is in full swing, players should also be on the look out for Xur, the exotic saleman ofDestiny 2, who’s available for the next few days. Follow this guide for his location as well as a review of what he’s currently selling for the weekend of June 09, 2025.

Where is Xur?
Players can find the exotic merchant hanging out in his usual spot at The Tower this weekend.
As usual, fast travel to the main Tower location and head left into the Hangar. Once there, take another left and move past the Dead Orbit section to find a metal staircase. Move up the stairs to find Xur on a platform overlooking the mountain range off in the distance.

Class Armor
As he’s been doing for the past few weeks, Xur isno longer selling collection rolled gear. The armor he now has features randomized stats and perks, which should revitalize player interest in what the merchant has each week. In addition, players can use an Exotic Cypher to purchase a second fated engram from the merchant.
Here are Xur’s three gear pieces this weekend:
Lunafaction Boots - Warlock leg armor
At one time, these were a prized possession for any Warlock player as they were extremely helpful in helping a fireteam overcome many of the game’s challenges. For nearly a year, the boots have been adjusted, with Bungienerfing them during the launch of Shadowkeep. Still, they remain a very good option for Warlocks especially when taking part in pinnacle activities like the master level Nightfalls.
They come with the unique perk Alchemical Etchings which provide a substantial impact to both rifts. All rifts now gain the added ability to increase weapon reload speeds while Empowering Rift makes weapons more effective over longer ranges. While no longer a required item, the roll on the boots this week are much higher than the typical collection roll that players have been subject to.
Solar Enhanced. Stat Values:
Lucky Pants - Hunter leg armor
Featured back in March, the Lucky Pants are mainly for Hunters that use hand cannons and that’s about it. Its intrinsic perk, Illegally Modded Holster, loads one round into the chamber of stowed hand cannons after a precision hit. In addition, hand cannons ready faster and have a bonus to accuracy after switching to them.
Considering that the perk is so dependent on a single type of weapon, it’s not going to be for everyone. Obviously, players who favor themany powerful hand cannonsmay want to take a look at these as they may be a viable option, especially with so many hand cannon exotics available in game. However, this item remains tough to recommend, even with the randomized stats.
Mask of the Quiet One - Titan helm
This sinister looking helmet is a subclass neutral item, meaning it can be equipped and used with any Titan subclass. Its unique perk is called Dreaded Visage with provides ability energy when the player is damaged. When they’re critically damaged, kills regain maximum health.
Titan players should be aware that the health regeneration part of this item only restores the red bar health and not the shields like the One Eyed Mask. Getting into close range battles, this item will likely shine as it keeps players alive and filled with ability energy. It’s a useful item with a pretty solid roll though the item isn’t a must have at this point.
Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
Exotic Weapon
Players looking for a weapon that can absolutely shred enemies should look no further than the originalDestiny 2rampage gun, Huckleberry. This exotic SMG is a primary slot weapon capable of dealing large amounts of damage very quickly thanks to its intrinsic perk Ride the Bull. While the trigger is held down, the weapon gains an increased rate of fire and recoil. In addition, any kills with the weapon will reload a portion of the magazine as well. The weapon also comes with rampage, which gives it increased damage (holding up to 3 stacks) after a kill, and Ricochet Rounds which causes bullets to bounce and redirect off hard surfaces.
Naturally, this is a great weapon for clearing out large groups of enemies, which means it truly shines in PvE activities. It can be a chaotic especially as it gets going but onceplayers grab the catalystfrom completing Heroic Adventures on Mars and Mercury, the gun becomes even better. For those who don’t have it, this is absolutely worth a pickup this week.
