More big news arrived this week forDestiny 2fans as Bungie revealeda brand new Beyond Light trailerat the digital gamescom event this week. While the company has previously discussed and even shown off the new Darkness-based subclasses, the trailer finally delved a bit deeper into each of the specific class types while showing off just what they can do against enemies.
As expected, Stasis gives players the ability toslow and even shatter frozen enemieswhere they stand. The Warlock becomes the staff wielding Shadebinder, the Hunter turns into the deadly Revenant, and the Titan gains the crushing force of an avalanche as a Behemoth. As cool and powerful as this new customizable subclass is, it’s unknown how this power will translate to the PvP oriented modes like Crucible. There’s some anxiety from fans assuming matches will devolve into slow paced combat due to constantly being slowed by new stasis grenades or being frozen solid.

Until Bungie reveals more details on how Stasis will further impact the base game, fans can instead look forward to the return of the weekly exotic merchant Xur to the world ofDestiny 2.Follow this guide for his location as well as a review of what he’s currently selling for the weekend of June 10, 2025.

Where is Xur?
For this weekend, players will need to head to The Rig on Titan.
Fast travel over to The Rig and start running to the back of the zone near the entrance to the Solarium. In the northwest corner of the more open section of The Rig, Xur is hiding out in a small house where the Hive and Fallen sometimes battle each other.

Class Armor
As he’s been doing for the past few weeks, Xur isno longer selling collection rolled gear. The armor he now has features randomized stats and perks, which should revitalize player interest in what the merchant has each week. In addition, players can use an Exotic Cypher to purchase a second fated engram from the merchant.
Here are Xur’s three gear pieces this weekend:
Contraverse Hold - Warlock gauntlets
A very strong PvP exotic that pairs really well with a Voidwalker’s grenade abilities. Chaos Exchanger is the unique perk and it provides damage resistance while charging a void grenade with Chaos Accelerant, Feed the Void, or Handheld Supernova. In addition, after using throwing it and landing a hit, a portion of grenade energy is returned.
These were adjusted a couple of months agoinside of the Season of the Worthy seasonal update. While they still function the same as they did previously, players now have reduced damage protection while holding the supernova and how long it can be held for. Still, this is a solid exotic item and is a recommended purchase for those who don’t yet have it even if the stats this week are a little underwhelming.
Void Enhanced. Stat Values:
Gwisin Vest - Hunter chest armor
Spectral Blade Huntersshould take note this week as the Gwisin Vest is again on sale. The main reason is due to its intrinsic perk called Roving Assassin. While the super is active, each spectral blade kill lets the player vanish and gain more super energy, making it last longer than normal.
Naturally, this is basically the go to exotic for Spectral Blades and is a must own. This week, the stat rolls come out to a 63, so players should double check to see if perhaps they already own a better version. If not, pick this one up.
Actium War Rig - Titan helmet
It’s been a while, but the Actium War Rig is back in stock for Titan players. Whenpaired with an auto rifle, the Actium War Rig turns the player into a shredder. Auto-Loading Link steadily reloads a portion of your equipped Auto Rifle’s magazine from reserves.
Thankfully, Destiny 2 has a ton of viable assault rifles these days including already popular options like the Gnawing Hunger or SUROS Regime. Naturally, fans of auto rifles should definitely grab this exotic, while everyone else can feel free to pass.
Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
Exotic Weapon
The underrated hand cannon, Sunshot, is back on sale this weekend with Xur. Sunburn, the intrinsic perk, causes the weapon to fire explosive rounds and causes enemies to become highlighted after taking damage. Its other unique perk, known as Sun Blast, causes targets to explode after being killed, not requiring a head shot like the similar perk, Dragonfly.
Once viewed as a mediocre exotic weapon choice, the hand cannon has since become a strong option in either PvE or PvP content, even rivalingthe once popular Spare Rations. It’s a 150RPM hand cannon with explosive rounds, capable of chaining damage to multiple enemies that are too close together. It’s also advisable to grab the catalyst for it as it increases the weapon’s range and stability even further.
