Currently,Destiny 2players have access to what is arguably some of the best buildcrafting tools for the Stasis Subclasses that the game has ever offered. This is mostly due to the latest Seasonal Artifact Mods from Season of the Wish, although some of the recently reworked Exotics for Titans also play a part in why these builds are so strong right now. Consequently, when pairing these Seasonal Artifact Mods with certain Exotic Titan armor pieces, Season 23 is arguably the best time for players to utilize Stasis Titan builds inDestiny 2.
Destiny 2rebalancing weapons and armor piecesis a common practice, and Exotic loot is no exception to this trend. Over time, this has caused certain Exotics to underperform compared to the current meta builds, which has resulted in many players overlooking these Exotics in favor of better alternatives. However, given the recent boost that Season of the Wish has given to Stasis builds, players may want to reconsider using a few particular hidden gems amongDestiny 2’s Exotic Titan armor.
Underrated Exotic Titan Armor to Use in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish
ACD/0 Feedback Fence
One of the fastest ways to consistently generateArmor Charges inDestiny 2is with this Exotic Titan armor. Titans are already the resident melee class inDestiny 2, and the ACD/0 Feedback gauntlets reward this playstyle very generously. This Exotic allows players to generate an Armor Charge for every melee hit, regardless of whether players use a charged melee ability or get a kill with the melee attack. Even though most Stasis Titan builds don’t commonly revolve around this Subclass’ melee ability, players can still get plenty of use out of this Exotic regardless.
Armamentarium
Ever since the 3.0 Subclass reworks have made their way to every Subclass inDestiny 2, grenade abilities have been able to offer a wide range of utility effects beyond just damage. This is particularly evident with grenades like the Stasis Subclass Glacier grenade. InSeason of the Wish, Stasis Crystals currently deal an extreme amount of damage when destroyed, which is the main appeal of Glacier grenades. However, these grenades can also freeze enemies, produce Stasis Shards, and act as a protective shield for players, among other utility effects. Given the opportunities that having a second grenade charge can introduce, players shouldn’t overlook this Titan Exotic for any Subclass, let alone Stasis builds.
Cadmus Ridge Lancecap
This Exotic is generally an instant favorite for players who already enjoy using Stasis Lances since it provides many outright enhancements to Stasis Lances. Not to mention, much like the Icefall Mantle, the Hoarfrost-Z, and several other Exotic Titan armor pieces that involve the player’s Barricade ability, this exotic has the added benefit of rewarding players who invest inTitan builds inDestiny 2with a high Resilience stat.
The Resilience stat inDestiny 2affects how much damage players can take before dying. This stat also affects the Titan’s unique class abilities, improving the recharge rate of these abilities at higher Resistance stats.
Hoarfrost-Z
This Exotic is relatively niche, but it shouldn’t be overlooked because of how effective its utility is, considering it’s essentially an all-around upgrade to the Titan’s Rally-Barricade. The latest Stasis Titan builds inDestiny 2’s current metaare mainly focused on rapidly creating and destroying as many Stasis Crystals as possible, so this exotic is praiseworthy since it gives players an additional method for producing Stasis Crystals.
Icefall Mantle
This Exotic in particular was quite underwhelming when it was first introduced, but since then, it’s arguably become one of the best Exotics for Titans when it comes to Stasis builds. Not only can players now manually cancel the overshield provided by this Exotic, but it also comes with a passive, stacking bonus to Stasis weapon damage and the ability to slow nearby enemies when activating the overshield
