Introduced inDead By DaylightChapter 22: Portrait of a Murder, the Eyrie of Crows serves as the twisted version of an abandoned graveyard infamously known as the site of the gruesome murder of Carmina Mora. Unfortunately for Survivors, the Entity transformed Carmina Mora into the Artist and this graveyard into her abode.

While the map is breathtakingly gorgeous, its sheer size leaves much to be explored - both for Survivors and the Killers. Depending on who’s using it, the Eyrie of Crows can become an abode for safety as Survivors complete their escape or the perfect place for the Killer to complete their feast. How exactly can players maximize their use of this new map?
6Immerse In Essentially A Desert Cemetery
Players who like to “feel” the map they’re exploring might want to get a general sense of its overall theme to fully immerse themselves in the environment. Even without a map layout, understanding the theme of the Eyrie of Crows already gives a gist of what Killers and Survivors can expect.
In the lore, the Eyrie of Crows is the map within the Forsaken Boneyard, the place where Carmina Mora - now The Artist - and her friends perished. It has since then become a mausoleum and cemetery in the middle of the desert. As such, players can safely expect a multitude of objects such as graves and tombstones in the area.
5Remember Two Rings And A Columbarium
Given the chaotic nature ofDead By Daylightmaps, one can assume that even the Eyrie of Crows is too chaotic a map to have all its segments laid out. Given its nature as a cemetery of sorts, there are quite a lot of graves, crypts, and tombstones that can become both a Survivor and a Killers’ saving grace. Here are some important considerations in terms of navigation:

Given the abundance of items in the general map, it’s important to get a sense of what objects exist in the environment and what players can do with them. Players can capitalize on certain environmental objects depending on how they appear on the map.Killers with mobility abilitiescan disregard a lot of these obstacles with ease. 2The Columbarium: Capitalize The Darkness
In stark contrast to the Eyrie’s exterior, entering the Columbarium will give players an extremely dark interior. Instead of a building with multiple sections, the Columbarium is a tower of sorts that is a couple of stories high, populated by stairs that lead to small platforms with shelves. Surrounding the Columbarium’s exterior is a terrace of sorts that circles around the Columbarium and overlooks the rest of the Eyrie below. Here are some crucial points:
1Wear Bland Browns For Disguise
While skins have become more or less a novelty in the game, some players might want to get their wits above them and consider how their clothes can adapt to a bright map like Eyrie of Crows.
At its core, considering the map’s emphasis on desert colors, it may help for players to use Survivors with skins that include desert browns, camouflage, or bland colors. That way, they have better chances of blending with objects from afar and even evadingthe Killer’sgaze if the latter seems preoccupied with the hunt.
