Although many of those itching to playCall of Duty: WW2will be doing so for the multiplayer content, the picture of the game’s single player campaign certainly seems to be an impressive one so far. Now, gamers have a chance to catch up a little on the cast of this single player mode, courtesy of a new set of teaser trailers focused on different characters from the campaign.

These newCall of Duty: WW2trailers will no doubt prove to be a vital glimpse for those aiming to check out the campaign. The first of the bunch focuses on Ronald ‘Red’ Daniels, who will act as the main character of the single player campaign. Hinting at a tragic backstory and with family waiting for him back home, Red’s fight inCall of Duty: WW2could be important in more ways than one.

It’s not just the main character who was focused on as part of this series of trailers, however. Alongside Red, the trailers also focus on supporting character and best friend Robert Zussman, the squad leader William Pierson, and finally the squad’s lieutenant, Joseph Turner. The first of these trailers, for Red himself, can be seen below, with the others available at the end this article.

So far, the campaign for the title is looking to be a powerful one for fans more used to diving head-first into the multiplayer part of the game. A newCall of Duty: WW2story trailerwas released yesterday, for instance, showcasing a little of what players will be experiencing when the game launches in November. In particular,Call of Duty: WW2will take players to some of the most important battles of the war, including the Normandy landings.

Indeed, developer Sledgehammer Games certainly seems to be taking something of a more atmospheric approach to proceedings withCall of Duty: WW2. According to the game’s senior creative director Bret Robbins,Call of Duty: WW2was inspired by so-called walking simulatorssuch asGone HomeandFirewatch, with both games gaining huge acclaim for their treatment of storytelling.

Of course, there’s more to aCall of Dutygame than simply the story, and already console players have been able to check out the multiplayer gameplay thanks to a beta. Thankfully, it won’t be long before PC players get in on the action, either, as Sledgehammer Games has now confirmed theCall of Duty: WW2PC beta dates. Hopefully, the game is able to impress across the board, through campaign, Zombies mode, and multiplayer.
