A recentCall of Dutypost reveals all of the new content showing up in Season 2 Reloaded. Among the new content, players can expect more multiplayer content in bothCall of Duty: WarzoneandBlack Ops Cold War. Whether it’s new multiplayer maps, multiplayer game modes, or even the new operators and weapons being added to the games. However, the announcement also confirmed the optimized file sizes for Season 2 Reloaded.

Going into further detail, Activision revealed the size of the Season 2 Reloaded update for bothCall of Duty: WarzoneandBlack Ops Cold War. The update’s download size forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwill be approximately 7.4 - 14.18 GB and 52.0 - 57.8 GB forWarzone. According to the post, the update forCall of Duty: Warzonehas a larger size due to the data optimization.
The post also reveals the Season 2 Reloaded exact file size for the games on all available platforms. The largest file size forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwill be 12.2 GB on the PS5 with the PS4 having 7.4 GB. Meanwhile, the lowest will be on PC with 8.1 GB. ForCall of Duty: Warzone, the update’s file size is 57.8 GB on both the Xbox Series X/S and the Xbox One. Both the PS5 and PS4 will have a file size of 52.0 GB, while the PC version will have 52.4 GB.

However, the update’s file size for players who own bothCall of Duty: WarzoneandModern Warfarewill be a considerably larger 133.6 GB. The post does point out that if players own eitherCall of Duty: WarzoneorBlack Ops Cold War, then they don’t need the download for the other game. Also, players can choose to uninstall or remove unnecessary data packs toreduce the overall file size in both games.
With all of this data, players will be getting plenty of new content in both games. Season 2 Reloaded will be adding new multiplayer maps like Miami Strike and Golova, more game modes, including Multi-Team Hardpoint and Weapon Tuning. There will even benew Zombies Outbreak contentthat continues the Dark Aether storyline and adds in a new objective, a new vehicle, and more. The update will launch today, March 29 at 9 PM PST forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warthen tomorrow, March 30 at 11 PM PST forCall of Duty: Warzone.
