Detailed in a blog post on the officialCall of Dutywebsite, players will be getting their hands on a pair of new armaments in Season 4 Reloaded. The first weapon players will be adding to their arsenal is the OTs 9 SMG. A fully automatic submachine gun boasting impressive firepower and a high fire rate, this SMG’s stats are similar to the Bullfrog, while edging it out in both categories. However, the gun’s drawback is its limited 20-round magazine, although the OTs 9 does have unlockable 30 and 40 round attachments, making it more ideal for larger-scale modes. Players can unlock the OTs 9 via in-game challenges or can purchase it directly in the Inside Job Store Bundle.

The other weapon coming toBlack Ops Cold WarandWarzoneis a two-handed melee weapon. The Mace looks to be one of the most lethal melee tools ever introduced inCall of Duty, able to inflict critical damage on command. This heavily implies that players will be able to bludgeon their rivals down with a single blow within Multiplayer, and can adeptly function as a crowd-clearing device in Zombies. The Mace joins over a dozen melee weapon options inCall of Duty: Warzone, and over a half-dozen options forBlack Ops Cold War. Players can unlock the two-handed death dealer by completing an in-game challenge or via Weapon Blueprint through the Mystic’s Scepter Store Bundle.

CoDfans will have plenty of new places to try out the new weapons, as the OTs 9 and Mace are just a small fraction of what Season 4 Reloaded’s content consists of. Beyond the pair of free new weapons, the biggest piece of new content arriving with the midseason update isthe new Zombies map Maurer der Toten. The new traditional map, set after the events of Outbreak’s “Operation Excision,” is introducing new zombie variants, along with a new Wonder Weapon, a Perk series veterans will recognize, and more.

Both weapons look like they can be useful across bothCall of Dutytitles, and within multiple modes. Fans won’t have to wait long to check out all the new content, asCall of DutySeason 4 Reloaded launches this week.
