Nvidia shared a videoshowcasing the bump in performance DLSS 3 can offer for PC gamers playingCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The tech company is boasting a 1.8X performance boost thanks to DLSS. Without DLSS 3 enabled, gamers are looking at FPS rates in the high 60s. With DLSS 3 enabled, however, players can expect anywhere from 120-150 FPS as shown by the comparison video. Frame rates are only half of the story, however. Thanks to Nvidia’s Reflex technology, the company is claiming latency can be reduced by as much as 28%. Of course, in a fast-twitch shooter likeCall of Duty, every second (and millisecond) counts, especially when online.

For those curious as to the exact specs on display in the video, Nvidia used a GeForce RTX 4080 to achieve 4K Ultra/Max Settings with DLSS 3 while in performance mode. Of course, this is some high-powered technology. The n are some of the highest-performing graphics cards available. For DLSS 3, PC players are required to have an RTX 40 series GPU. DLSS 2 is also an option forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3players, and that only requires an RTX 20 series or better.
