Treyarch released details on the contentCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwill be receiving with Season One Reloaded, launching this week. The update includes new content to Multiplayer, bug fixes, and other additions toBlack Ops Cold War’sgame modes, including thenew 40 player Endurance mode.
Among the new content, the Double XP Weekend event will launch inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warfor the weekend from Friday at 10 AM on February 5 to Monday at 10 AM on February 8. During this weekend, players will be able to level up twice as fast as they normally would inBlack Ops Cold WarandWarzone. Whether players are leveling up in general Multiplayer modes or in Zombies, they will receive double the experience earned in the games.

While Double XP Weekend will be starting on Friday for everyone, PlayStation players will be able to get early access a day sooner than others. According to theBlack Ops Cold Warupdate, the XP event starts early at 10 AM February 4th the game on PS4 and the PS5. However, Treyarch’s update doesn’t exactly state why PlayStation players will be able to gain double XP earlier than PC or Xbox users.
Along with Double XP Weekend, Season One Reloaded will include even more content forBlack Ops Cold War. It includes various bug fixes to the game, new game modes, additional Prop Hunt maps — likeBlack Ops 2’sExpress map — and an increased player count in CDL Custom Game Modes. There will also be moreBlack Ops Cold Warfeatured playlistsadded as well.
Not to mention, thenew Firebase Z chapterin Zombies continues the Dark Aether storyline and will be free to all players across all platforms on Friday. Players will continue the story with Requiem on a mission to rescue Samantha Maxis from the Omega Group. The story will take players to a new location hidden in the jungles of Vietnam, where they will face new otherworldly enemies from the Dark Aether and the return of the Mangler enemy.
Zombies will also be getting the new Tombstone Soda Perk as part of the new content. It’s a soda from the Tombstone machine that lets players rejoin the game before they bleed out by becoming a shadow in the Dark Aether. With all of the new game modes being added toBlack Ops Cold War, players will have many opportunities to level themselves up during Double XP Weekend.
