Summary
Borutohas finally made it to return after months with Part Two, calledBoruto: Two Blue Vortexandfans have totally loved the first chapter of the manga, which came out rather recently. So far, not many plot advancements have taken place, however, the first chapter did focus quite a lot on major characters returning after 3 years, with new looks and new powers.

At the same time, some major changes that have been made to the world of ninja, specifically Konoha, were made known to the fans as well. Of course, the vast majority of the focus was onthe plotlines surrounding Boruto Uzumakiand his betrayal of the village. Fans had also expected to see Sasuke Uchiha in the chapter, however, he was nowhere to be seen and new questions have been raised about whether he is even alive or dead.
Sasuke At The End Of Boruto Part 1
At the end of part one ofBoruto, Sasuke Uchiha played a very important role. Right after Kawaki resolved to kill Boruto, he sealed away Naruto and Hinata in the dimension of Daikokuten. As soon as he did that, he went to find Boruto and engaged with him in combat atop the Hokage faces. The two were evenly matched for the most part, however, when Sarada stepped in, Boruto quickly realized that he needed to protect her and, in doing so, he ended up losing his right eye. Moments later, Kawaki would then have given him the finishing blow, however, that is precisely when the Shinobi of Konoha stepped in and Sasuke led the charge. Sasuke was able to successfully stop Kawaki, however, thanks to Momoshiki, he ended up escaping.
Despite everything, Kawaki would definitely not have made it out of the village if it wasn’t for Ada. When he needed help, she showed up and decided to bring his deepest wishes to life. Kawaki wished for the life that Boruto Uzumaki had and wanted to become the trueborn son of Naruto. At the same time, he wished for Boruto to suffer his life instead and be treated as the killer of the Seventh Hokage. With that, Kawaki became the son of Naruto Uzumaki while Boruto ended up becoming the boy he took in and who repaid him with treachery. Naturally, Boruto had to escape from the village and it was Sasuke who came to his aid in his moment of need. Together, the two left the village for 3 years in order to get stronger and return with much more power, as well as a plan to deal with the mess that Kawaki created.
Boruto’s Return In Part 2
InBoruto: Two Blue Vortexchapter 1, fans saw quite a lot of Konoha and, needless to say, things have changed in the village. For one,Shikamaru is now the 8th Hokageof the village, which surprised quite a lot of the fans. Every ninja in the village that fans knew of has now grown tremendously and likely gotten stronger as well. Meanwhile, Sarada is dead set on letting everyone know about the truth of the situation, however, she isn’t getting much help. Mitsuki seems to have attached himself to Kawaki while Code and Boruto are both deemed as big threats to the village.

At the end of the chapter, fans saw some major developments take place as Code invaded the village and decided to hunt down those beloved to Boruto Uzumaki. He planned on starting with Sarada but before he could even begin, Boruto Uzumaki made his grand return. After 3 years, Boruto returned to the village and was seen stepping on Code’s face. Fans could see him having grown up quite a lot. Boruto was seen wearing a big cape resembling that of Sasuke Uchiha. In fact, his entire outfit, from his cape to his pants, all the way down to his sword is an exact copy of the outfit that Sasuke wears. Curiously, only Boruto’s chakra was registered, meaning Sasuke was nowhere to be seen. This has raised quite a lot of questions in the minds of the fans regarding his fate, however, this isn’t the only indication that something might have happened to Sasuke.
Code Chasing Boruto
As soon as Code made it to Konoha, he made it quite clear that he had been looking for Boruto Uzumaki for quite a while now. Over the past 3 years, Code had been chasing Boruto consistently and causing all sorts of problems for him. By the looks of it, Code also engagedin combat with both him and Sasuke.In the process, he lost his left eye, which, now, is sliced across, just like Boruto’s eye. This implies that Code has fought with Sasuke and Boruto during the timeskip and during this time, something terrible could have happened to Sasuke. Fans know already that Sasuke has been weakened considerably at this point in the story. He is not the warrior that he once was and his skills, overall, have drastically dropped after his Rinnegan was taken away by Boruto’s mistake.
In combat, he would not stand much of a chance against Code, which means that if the two were to engage in combat, the winner would likely be Code and Sasuke could even end up dying, potentially. However, it must be remembered that Sasuke would not have fought Code alone. In fact, in combat, Sasuke would have the help of Boruto Uzumaki, who is almost a perfect Otsutsuki himself. Together, these two would have been more than enough to deal with Code, which means Sasuke’s fans can rest assured that he is not dead, at least not just yet.
Is Sasuke Dead?
Killing off Sasuke Uchiha during the timeskip would be the most stupid mistake that the writers ofBorutocould make and they are likely aware of that as well. Neither Naruto nor Sasuke or characters that can simply be killed off, all thanks to their incredible popularity and importance to the original series. These characters have carried Naruto on their shoulders and made their own legacy that is legendary, over the years. Killing off either Naruto or Sasuke for the sake of Boruto, a somewhat struggling series, would certainly not be sensible.
Furthermore, even if the writers somehow decided to kill off Sasuke, they would never do it off-screen. Sasuke is arguably the second most important character after Naruto in the entire franchise and he certainly deserves quite a lot of respect and care. In fact, Kishimoto once mentioned that Naruto and Sasuke are like Yin and Yang. When one progresses, so does the other and they are equally important, in some ways.For Sasuke to face a cruel fatewhile not even being involved in the story would be quite simply preposterous. Fans can rest assured that Sasuke is alive and well and he will return toBorutoat some point. Perhaps, he’s planning something on his own.
