Due to the heartbreaking and unfortunate passing of Boseman,Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverwill also have the character he played, T’Challa, pass away, which is why it looks like another person is taking on the mantle. The movie is also set to introduce some new power players, including Namor the Sub Mariner. Namor is described as a neutral aligning superhero and his main driving force is the future of his underwater city of Atlantis.Ryan Coogler originally wanted to introduce Namorin the last film but fortunately, the time skip actually serves Namor well here.

Another power player is Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart, who was officially revealed in a recent clip. Riri Williams is the civilian name of the superhero who takes up the mantle of Ironheart. A genius-level intellect, Riri’s origin will no doubt be different than her comic book counterpart due to the absence of Tony Stark, but fans can still expect her to be a force to be reckoned with.

Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverwent through a vigorous filming process, including Letitia Wright’s on-set injury, so to see it come out on top is nothing short of remarkable. On top of being a “goodbye” to the incredibly talented and kind-hearted Boseman, this film can very well be Marvel Studios' best project of the year.

Black Panther: Wakanda Foreverwill be released in theaters on November 11th, 2022.
