Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warrevealed a brand new category of Multiplayer game modes called Fireteam. Several multiplayer game modes were revealed today asTreyarch unveiled the official multiplayer reveal. From epic multi-ship combat to speeding through deserts and battling helicopters the developers put on an epic showcase for fans to enjoy. One point that the developers have touched lightly on is Fireteam, although there is really not much information as to what this new game mode is.

Fans do know that Fireteam will include 10 teams of four battling against each other on large-scale maps. Players will have access to several vehicles and a set of objectives that they must complete despite the opposition. The entire game mode is designed to allow fans opportunities for epic gameplay movements as they enjoy the unique and large environments as a squad. In addition, Treyarch mentioned a Fireteam game type called Dirty Bomb. While thedevelopers are promising more information later, there are several details that fans can try and glean from the name alone.
Dirty Bomb is a nickname for chemical weaponsor any bomb having to do with radiation. The idea of a dirty bomb is that when it explodes the real damage occurs after the initial blast with lasting poisons, burns, or radioactive materials harming the area. These weapons are mainly used by terrorist organizations in situations where simply damaging a structure or population of people is deemed not enough.
With the general description of Fireteam being to pull offcertainBlack Opsthemed objectives, a guess is that half of the lobby is working towards stopping the bomb while the other half hopes to guard it. With 10 total teams, it would be fairly plausible to split those teams into two groups of 5 and have them coordinate against each other.
The vague description of the game mode Fireteam gives players a world of possibilities. Until the game is fully revealed, there is not much fans can to find definite answers but there is always more information hiddenbetween the lines withBlack Opscontent. Based on the description alone, Fireteam looks to be a game mode inspired by the action ofWarzone.
