In everyPersonagame, the main character has the capability to hold multiple Personas within them, but not an unlimited number, so it’s important players carefully choose which Personas to take. The Arqa block ofPersona 3 Reloadis a large area consisting of over 40 floors and countless Personas. These are the Personas players should prioritize recruiting in the Arqa Block.
Fool Arcana
Starting Abilities:
While Slime might not be the prettiest Persona in the game, it shouldn’t be overlooked just because of its unfortunate looks, as it is definitely one worth recruiting during the exploration of thefirst half of Arqa.
It comes with three innate abilities: bash to deal physical damage, which can prove especially useful when SP runs low, Evil Touch to try and throw foes off their game, and raging tiger, a passive ability that synergizes with Slime’s physical skills. While players may encounter more useful Personas on later floors in Arqa, Slime is ideal to tide players over in the meantime, and might even be worth sticking with thanks to the abilities it learns when it levels up.
Chariot Arcana
Zouchouten is a Persona players will encounter on the latter floors of Arqa and is one players should certainly keep an eye out for. Along with three starting abilities, it also has three resistances, Wind, Light, and Dark. As players may encounter shadows with insta-kill Dark abilities, Nigi Mitama’s resistance might just save their lives.
Magician Arcana
Jack-O'-Lantern isa cute and charmingPersona encountered in the latter half of the Arqa block and proves itself as one of the most useful Personas in this segment of Tartarus. Jack-O'-Lantern comes equipped with three innate skills, two of which revolve around fire damage, and another that can cause foes to be enraged.
The fire skills can come in use, especially Maragi as it deals damage to all foes, which can help conserve SP when faced with a large group of shadows. Although Provoke doesn’t seem to have much use with Jack-O'-Lantern equipped, players can still get some synergy if they have the passive ability Raging Tiger on any of their Personas.
Justice Arcana
Archangel might very well prove to be the player’s guardian angel, with three varied innate skills players are sure to find uses for. Acquired on early-level floors of the Arqa block, Archangel’s skills are sure to come in handy, as players will encounter shadows that are weak only to Light skills.
As such, players should ensure they always have a Persona that has Light skills in their repertoire, otherwise they might find it a struggle to dispatch certain shadows, and Archangel is certainly more than capable of filling the requirement.
Emperor Arcana
From the pages of a Shakespeare novel, Oberon is the King of Fairies and one of the kings of the best Personas in the Arqa block. His innate abilities grant him electric and light damage skills, while Media allows players to mass-heal their party, which can be especially crucial in Arqa, as there are shadows with attacks that deal damage to the entire party.
Oberon also learns skills that could prove critical on level-ups, such as Zionga to deal higher levels of Electric damage and Survive Dark, which allows the players to automatically survive a Darkinsta-kill attack.
Principality is one of the greatest Personas players will encounter in the Arqa block of Tartarus and might be one that players keep with them for many levels to come. Though Principality has only two innate abilities both revolving around the Light type of damage, it gains some extremely crucial abilities if players gain enough experience to level them up, such as Recarm, which allows players to revive fallen allies with half health.
In addition, Principality’s starting skills will prove useful, as players will undoubtedly encounter Shadows with a weakness to Light.
