The last thing anyone wants to experience in a Western RPG is for players to hoard a ton of loot until they’re on the brink of being encumbered, only to reach a merchant and find out that they don’t have enough gold for players to unload everything they’ve acquired. It may be realistic, but the frustration players experience because of this overshadows everything else in the eyes of many.

Firearms add multiple Flintlock weapons along with different ammunition types. This is a well-thought mod that is quite careful to not make the game far easier. The ammunition is scarce, which makes it work almost like a crossbow so that the player cannot always rely on guns.
