Misty Step is best utilized when escaping or teleporting in line with several enemies, allowing for extreme collateral damage when using more damage-based AoE spells like Sunbeam or Lightning Bolt.

Grant Flight isa level 3 transmutation spellthat enables players to fly over distances, allowing them easy access to terrain or buildings. With an 18m range, Grant Flight is an extremely useful spell to make use of both in and out of combat.
During a battle, players can use the spell to close the distance on enemies or even flee if their HP is low. Most often, Grant Flight is utilized outside of battle when trying to access an area that is hard to get to, with the spell allowing for flight to any such location within its range.

The level 4 evocation spellIce Stormis an effective damage tool that spawns a barrage of ice from the sky, causing damage to everyone within the 6m radius. Among the manyproductive level 4 spells, Ice Storm stands out as one of the best due to its high AoE damage, ranging from 6-40. Along with the damage provided, Ice Storm can cause enemies and allies caught up in the radius to potentially slip and be rendered useless for the rest of the turn.
The spell offers sufficient utility through enemies slipping on the ice. It also provides plenty of zoning to keep enemies off the back line where characters such as sorcerers and rangers often position themselves in battle.

9Mirror Image
A Duplication Spell That Reduces Damage Taken
Whenever under pressure from several enemies, the level 2 illusion spellMirror Imagecan come in handy to nullify any incoming damage. Mirror Image’s primary power is its ability to spawn three duplicates that increase the player’s armor class by three. With the range of the spell being 18m, a player who casts Mass Cure Wounds is able to reach far and wide to heal their allies both in and out of combat. It’s an ideal spell for a Druid to have in their arsenal.

7Heal

Luckily enough for Druid players, all subclasses can attain the spell at level 6; it just requires a fair amount of progression and grinding to reach this point.

6Cloudkill
A Poisonous AoE Spell That Can Wreak Havoc In Battle
Cloudkill is a level 5 conjuration spell that is able to change the entire dynamic of a battle by placing an AoE poison fog on the battlefield.As a Druid, Cloudkill can only be accessed via the Circle of the Spores or Circle of the Land subclass. Cloudkill is a spell that puts down a 6m poison radius, with the spell dealing anywhere from 5-40 damage every turn.
The spell has an 18m range, allowing users to place it almost anywhere on the battlefield. Another perk of Cloudkill is the option it provides players to move the poisonous cloud each turn, making it especially helpful if enemies attempt to flee.

5Insect Plague
An AoE Spell That Deals Damage And Causes Enemies To Be Slowed
Insect Plagueis a level 5 conjuration spell that spawns a 6m area of locusts that attack anyone inside, making escape challenging due to the difficult terrain effect that comes with it. Insect Plague is similar but superior to spells like Moonbeam as the damage provided can be as high as 40. At the same time, the radius is much larger, allowing for more of an influence in battle.
