Baldur’s Gate 3receives its fifth hotfix that’s currently live on PS5 and PC, fixing several bugs, glitches, and issues that may occur when playing multiplayer. Not only that, but this hotfix also resolves issues that players have faced revolving around Minthara, giving access to more lines of her dialogue inBaldur’s Gate 3.
With how fast these hotfixes are being released, it’s apparent that Larian Studios is doing everything it can to provide the best experience possible sinceBaldur’s Gate 3is the highest-rated new game of 2023. While this recent hotfix does address other underlying issues that were present in the game, this one unblocks several new pieces of dialogue a player can encounter when adventuring with Minthara, especially when they are in a relationship with her.

Once players reach Act 3 inBaldur’s Gate 3, if their approval is high enough with Minthara, dialogue options and conversations that weren’t present before will now be available. With this, players can further their bond with Minthara as they can learn more about her backstory anddeepen their relationship inBaldur’s Gate 3with the Paladin. In addition to fixing content surrounding Minthara, the new hotfix also adds dialogue for party members whenever players are in a relationship with her.
With thePS5 early access version ofBaulder’s Gate 3releasedand soon to follow on the base editions, PS5 players are also taken care of with this hotfix as there were also some fixes implemented catering to their gameplay experience. Those who play on PS5 should no longer have graphical issues on HDR TVs, and audio should no longer stop working as well.
In order to provide a smoother online experience when adventuring with friends, multiplayer gameplay has been patched. While a chunk of these fixes primarily fixes problems regarding split-screen, there are some issues fixed surroundinga player’sBaldur’s Gate 3avatarin a multiplayer session.
Given how ginormous the world is inBaulder’s Gate 3, this certainly won’t be the last time we see a rapid succession of hotfixes being released. Despite all the praise the title’s being given,Baldur’s Gate 3isn’t perfect, meaning Larian Studios will keep deploying hotfixes to provide the best experience possible for players.
