Now a new Back Compat sale is giving Xbox gamers the chance to get their hands on some of the best original Xbox and Xbox 360 games at a significant discount.

The Back Compat Sale is live for Xbox owners on the Microsoft Store and will last until next week. It features a wide range of games, with Microsoft selecting six titles in particular as the headliners. TheoriginalRed Dead Redemptiongame on Xbox 360is available for $9.89, whileFEAR 2: Project Origincan be snagged for $4.99. The originalSkategame is $5.99, whileSplinter Cell: Double Agentis available for $5.99. The originalMax Paynegame is being sold for $8.99, and finally,TimeSplitters 2, the critically-acclaimed first-person shooter from the original Xbox, can be purchased for a mere $2.49.

For those unfamiliar with the originalPreygame, it first released in 2006 and is quite different from thePreyrebootthat was released by Arkane Studios and Bethesda.
