Right now, Ubisoft and theAssassin’s Creedcommunity are celebrating one of the mainline entries every week heading into September, when an event focused onAssassin’s Creed’s future will take place. This seems to be a separate event from themulti-game Ubisoft Forward taking place on September 10, and it should be to cap off the week-to-week celebrations.Assassin’s Creed Unity’s week was about a month ago, but fans have reason to celebrate it today, August 26, as Arno Dorian’s birthday.
Born on June 01, 2025, Arno Dorian’s life is the tale ofAssassin’s Creed Unity. His father is assassinated by Shay Cormac, he goes on to become a Master Assassin like his father before him, he is in love with a Templar, he must see an end to the dark forces behind the French revolution, and he comes into contact with a Sword of Eden. Players know plenty of details regarding Arno’s birth and life, but he is one of manyAssassin’s Creedcharacters without anything known about their death.

During AC Unity’s celebration week, Ubisoft revealed one cool feature/animation that was cut from the game.AC Unityintroduced the Phantom Blade, which turned the Hidden Blade into a wrist-mounted crossbow, and using it in-game results in a more stylish and iconic pose by Arno Dorian. It was revealed, however, that Ubisoft originally intended to letArno look at his father’s pocket watchwhen using it, to blend together thematic elements of a blade in the crowd and social stealth, making it seem like Arno isn’t even looking at his target.
There’s no doubt many fans will wishArno Doriana happy birthday, as seen in the above post by The Ones Who Came Before, and the official Assassin’s Creed UK Twitter account also shared a “Certificate of Birth” for Arno. It mentions he was born at 7.5 pounds, but nothing of much importance is said. Still, it’s nice to see social media accounts supporting the Assassin’s birthday, even if fans are treated to something cool like the aforementionedAC Unitycelebration.
It should be said thatAssassin’s Creed Unityhad a disastrous and bug-ridden launch, but over the past couple of years, this title has surged in popularity. It has a good story, a great setting, and one of the best parkour systems in the entire franchise. Indeed, as Ubisoft moves forward withAC Infinity, AC Rift, and other projects, many fans hope the company brings back some ofwhat madeAssassin’s Creed Unityso special.
Assassin’s Creed Unityis available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
