This plot point might also suggest a modern-day dispute between Basim and the Assassin Order, as evidenced by the ending ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, which strongly implied that Basim might have malicious intent towards the Order, as he insisted on having a “face-to-face talk” with William Miles. William had a conversation with Basim via the Animus, where it was decided that Basim would explore his genetic sequences in the Animus, which will be the plot ofAssassin’s Creed Mirage.
