Players will not have access to their free promo items just by starting up the game. This is becauseAnthemdoesn’t just throw players into the game world with full access to the store and all customization elements. There are several tutorials and missions to play through before that part of the game opens up. Once the player progresses to a certain point, all of that free content can be claimed. Keep in mind that some bonus content is only beneficial early in the game, soAnthemEarly Accessplayers should claim it as soon as they’re able.
Pre-order bonusesand Legion of Dawn digital content will be in the “Rewards” tab inAnthem’s vanity shop. EA has provided a list of spoiler-free steps required to unlock the shop and its content:

Once claimed, the items will have a check mark next to them on the Rewards tab. They can then be equipped at the Forge next to theJavelindeparture point. Note that not all Legion of Dawn or pre-order content may be available until full launch on February 22.
Outside of the Legion of Dawn Edition bonus content,Anthem’s only special edition, there are a variety of other digital content rewards that players will be able to now unlock. Some of these cosmetics are for pre-ordering, but others are for assorted memberships, purchases, or sign-ups:
The Legion of Dawn Edition itself comes with both cosmetic and in-game content (limited to early levels). Rather than just the Legion of Dawn Ranger Armor Pack,Legion of Dawnbuyers will acquire Armor Packs for all four Javelins - Ranger, Colossus, Storm, and Interceptor. Buyers will also get the Ranger’s “Fist of the Mountain” Legendary Assault Launcher gear too.
It’s unclear if BioWare plans any further such rewards forAnthem, like bonuses for attending conventions or the like. But players can likely count on the vast majority of such content being released viaAnthem’s in-game Vanity Shop.
Anthemreleases February 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Early Access is available now via Origin Access on PC and EA Access on Xbox One.
