There’s quite a bit of hype behind Bethesda’s upcoming open world sci-fi RPGStarfield, though much of this excitement stems from Bethesda’s reputation as opposed to anything shown about the game itself. In fact, at the time of this writing,Starfieldremains mostly shrouded in mystery, with little beyond concept art and a teaser video shown for it so far. While some fans may be growing impatient for a proper reveal forStarfield, Bethesda has released yet another piece of concept art for the game.

The latestStarfieldconcept art shows off one of the central locations that will be featured in the game, New Atlantis. New Atlantis is a city that serves as the capital of the United Colonies inStarfield’s far future universe.Starfield’s city of New Atlantishas been shown off before, with concept art giving fans an idea of what the city looks like within its walls, but this latest piece of concept art shows it off from a different angle.

This new concept for New Atlantis inStarfieldappears to show what the city looks like on approach. The city appears to have massive rock structures surrounding it, potentially even built into the cliff side itself. This particular piece of art is animated, so players can get an idea of what it looks like when aStarfieldspaceshipapproaches New Atlantis from the air. Presumably, that will be one of the ways that players themselves will be entering the city as well, though Bethesda hasn’t shared a ton of details on that front.

This fresh look at New Atlantis is just the latest piece ofStarfieldconcept art released by Bethesda in recent weeks. Bethesda has also given fans a look at ajungle planet inStarfield, not to mention a glowing cavern of some kind. While Bethesda is still remaining mostly secretive aboutStarfieldand what fans can expect from the game, this concept art makes it clear that fans have a ton of environmental variety to look forward to at launch.

The question remains when exactly Bethesda is going to pull the curtain back onStarfieldand show it off to the world. Bethesda has yet to confirm when exactly that may be, but it’s quite possible thatStarfieldwill be one of the featured games at Microsoft’s E3 2022 presentation. Specifics on that have yet to be ironed out, and there are even rumblings thatE3 2022 may be completely canceled, so fans will have to wait and see on that front.
